What a treat to stay at McCaela's magical, cozy, home! Everything – from the surroundings, to the furnishings, to the amenities – were just perfect. Entry into the house was no problem, and inside we found a delightfully thoughtful and intentional home that was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Just as key, the bed in the primary bedroom was supremely comfortable! We had no reason to ask any questions, and we had no issues at all; still, McCaela reached out to make sure we were settled and to see if we needed anything. We SO appreciated her generosity, kindness, and insight into (and commitment to) the local community. It's clear that a great deal of thought and care has gone into this house, and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. The location is perfect – off the beaten path and extremely private, yet close to everything we wanted in the Berkshires. I highly recommend staying here, ideally for longer than the two nights we did. We can't wait to return!

Our stay at this beautiful private wood house was magical. Surrounded by peaceful forest, it was the perfect escape from everyday life. The cabin was cozy, clean, and full of charm, with stunning views from every window. We loved the quiet mornings, forest walks, and starlit evenings by the fire. Total relaxation. We stayed at Lakeside Landing with our 1 year old to enjoy Father’s Day weekend in the Mystic area. This place was perfect to enjoy a fire by the lake, watch the deer and other wildlife, and spend a few cozy evenings snuggled up in the living room. Everything was perfect!

Michelle's Hilltop Cabin in Chesterfield, MA, is a wonderful place. Nestled in the Berkshire woods, but close to the road, and not far from civilization, this place has all the best western Massachusetts has to offer. 11 miles (15 minutes) to Snow Farm (Williamsburg) 17 miles (28 minutes) to downtown Northampton 23 miles (36 minutes) to UMass Amherst 31 miles (44 minutes) to Mass MOCA (North Adams) 32 miles (51 minutes) to Tanglewood (Lenox) The Hilltop Cabin is best for 2-3 people, but Michelle has several other rentals at the same address. See if she has openings to suit your party on your dates. You won't be disappointed!

The hosts were fantastic, very responsive, and accommodating. Their home is lovely: relaxing, picturesque views, and inviting. One of our favorite extra features was the kids bedroom with tons of (new) toys for our toddler to play with. There were more toys than shown in the pictures and we were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. 10/10 and would definitely revisit in the future.

Such a great spot for the weekend! We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin which had so much natural light and was quiet and private. The kitchen was well stocked and the place was clean and inviting. We really appreciated Melissa's clear instructions on finding the cabin as we arrived after dark and had no trouble finding it. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

Alex’s home was a vintage design beauty! You could tell how much thought and detail he put into his home. The amenities were wonderful, including a gorgeous living room, great sound system, well-stocked kitchen, outdoor wood burning chimney, BBQ, and bucolic tree-surrounded hot tub (which we loved). But the best part was Alex himself. What a nice guy! He welcomed us at check-in with delicious freshly baked sourdough bread and homemade ginger cookies later in our stay. He also gave us fantastic advice on things to do in the area. Overall, you’ll love this home nestled in the CT woods!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy, charming cabin! It’s the perfect place to unplug and unwind. Nestled in a peaceful, quiet setting, the cabin feels like a true retreat from everyday life. We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch for morning coffee and evening chats. The nearby waterfalls (a 30–40 minute walk or 10-minute drive) were a wonderful way to enjoy the area’s natural beauty. The two-person soaking tub was a highlight—so relaxing after a hike! The cabin is thoughtfully equipped with a small but functional kitchen, which made it easy to prepare simple meals. We also appreciated the high-quality linens and comfortable bed—such a nice touch that made our stay feel special. While it’s ideal for unplugging, there is Wi-Fi if you need it. There are also some cute towns nearby, full of antique shops and local charm. It was the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and low-key exploration. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!

Emily and Carol were wonderful hosts. They were responsive to our questions and provided great recommendations. Sitting on the balcony with the view of the trees and the lake beyond was tranquil. The living area is cozily furnished and both the fireplace and tv were easy to use. The nearby community beach was fun to visit and an added benefit of the stay. Great location with plenty of good food and small town charm!

My family and dog really enjoyed the cozy cabin. The yard is fun. While the stairs are challenging as described... it was also fun. While small, it has everything you need. as mentioned in other reviews, it is pretty close to the road. Our check-in with Lois was smooth and all the information we needed. it was great being able to walk over to the trail. Thank you so much.

Beautiful little cabin, peacefully in the woods. Great, friendly, and responsive hosts. Perfect location to relax, walk around, find closeby hikes and hidden gems, including some great breakfast spots. 10/10 would recommend.

The guesthouse was so dreamy! We had a wonderful stay, the hosts were super friendly, and we loved meeting their sweet dogs. The house was close to great restaurants and shops in Hudson, Kinderhook, and Ghent, as well as hiking trails. The lovely trail on the property was a great bonus, one we took advantage of 4 times throughout the weekend :). Would definitely visit again!

Phoebe was hard at work in the yard when I arrived but stopped to handle checkin and orientation. Everything very easy to follow.

The charming cottage and grounds were perfect for our quiet retreat in a beautiful, private, and natural setting. The cottage is tastefully remodeled with obvious loving care displayed in the elegant simplicity. We enjoyed every aspect of each well thought-out and tastefully furnished room. The cottage was spotless and fully supplied. The many large windows provide a feeling of spaciousness that brings the outdoors indoors. The large covered deck provides an appealing outdoor living area. The large and artfully designed kitchen window takes maximum advantage of the mountain-top view. The large rolling grounds are kept in a very natural setting encouraging you to stroll out to the pond or sit and watch the birds and deer enjoy the surrounding forest. The hosts were very communicative, responsive, and pleasant to deal with. The day of our arrival, they suggested an SUV to deal with the very steep paved driveway, just in time for us to switch our rental car to an SUV which worked well.

Our stay in CT was truly as peaceful and relaxing as it could get! The cottage was in pristine condition and we felt right at home. I would highly recommend this lovely space to anyone wanting to stay in the area. The host is very responsive as well which made checking in and out super easy for us.

We enjoyed this woodsy, serene property! Well stocked, lovely home on a beautiful lot adjacent to trail. Magical outdoor sitting area w/ fire ring @ creekside. Nice deck for bird watching, pictoresque windows w/ nature views in living room. Filtered instant hot water for tea is a plus! Large house w/ 1 bathroom. Note- King sized bed is upstairs & bathroom's downstairs. When we booked listing didn't mention but Fruzsi opened up a small bedroom, w/ queen-sized bed, for us, on the same lower level as the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable & we slept well. We had to adjust living room couch from time time when watching a movie. Sections/cushions shifted apart. Bathroom was well stocked. Shower pressure's light, w/ an adjustment water was hot long enough to take a bath. Addressed cleanliness issues in the living room, bathroom & kitchen w/ Fruzsi. She was very responsive. None of these were deal breakers. Highly recommend this home to others, overall great value! Would stay again!

We loved our stay at Mariana’s cozy and comfortable cabin by the lake. The surroundings are beautiful, and the cabin is tastefully decorated and equipped with everything guests might need. Mariana was quick to respond to our questions, and made us feel very welcomed. The only disappointment was that it rained during our whole stay and we couldn’t enjoy the adorable deck off the side of the house - next time! We’re definitely happy we stayed here!

Lanthe and Josephine’s cabin was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at peace. The space is warm, thoughtfully decorated, and nestled in such a serene location, perfect for a quiet getaway from the city. Everything was clean, cozy, and exactly as pictured. You can truly feel the love and care that went into creating this space. It was the perfect setting to relax, reconnect, and make meaningful memories. We had a great long weekend in the cabin! Everything was exactly as pictured and it was even stocked with everything we could ever need in the kitchen, allowing us to cook and grill and just relax! We traveled with our 2 year old who also enjoyed the place and appreciated finding some books and coloring books to use as well. Would love to return!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was cozy and in a great location. It was really peaceful and clean and the instructions we received for getting to the property and getting inside were clear. The trail near the property was easy to locate and had a wonderful view! We would love to stay again!
