We stayed here as 5 adults and a baby, it was the absolutely perfect space for us. Sarah and Ed were great hosts with helpful recommendations and very responsive. Very quiet peaceful location only a short drive from many of Suffolk’s beauty spots. Highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly want and more. Little extras such as the personal welcome board, scones and jam, milk , tea bags and biscuits. Spotlessly clean, nice decor, comfy beds and lovely garden to sit in. Can thoroughly recommend.

The accommodation was very comfortable. Lots of cushions on the sofas and lots of equipment in the kitchen , good working space in kitchen and very nice dining table and chairs. Jo had left us so many extras - she really had thought of everything There were beautiful gardens to sit in with summer house and pond so peaceful and relaxing. Jo was very friendly and helpful Country side around was beautiful We were rather sad to leave

Fantastic stay with my family. We have outgrown a caravan holiday and this was absolutely perfect for us. Private but with neighbours. Very relaxing. Wonderful to have a fully functional kitchen with all you need to cook breakfast, lunch or dinner! Hidden treasure!

Lovely, relaxing stay here with 3 adults and 2 dogs. The house was beautifully decorated and felt very homely. Beds were very comfortable and everything we needed was provided. Netflix available on TV and a secluded garden to sit in if you wanted to. Even though the property is in the owners garden, it felt very private. Lots of walking to be found in the National Trust garden and woodland, which is right behind the house. We ate at the dog friendly Six Bells pub 5 minutes down the road and the food and service were excellent. Thank you to the hosts for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

We really loved our stay at the cottage. It’s very generous on space, very comfortable and immaculately clean and tidy. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. We would most definitely like to visit again.

We needed a base in Melton for a long weekend to attend a wedding. This accommodation was perfect for us both, and our two grown up ‘children’. The host gave clear instructions, and it was easy to find. It had everything listed, and more. Two en-suite bathrooms were perfect for us, and we could walk to the church in under 10 minutes. There was plenty of off road private parking too. The loveliest part was the warmth of welcome - a bottle of fizz, milk in the fridge, and nice biscuits. Julia gave us time to settle in and then came over to check we had all we needed. She was extremely friendly, kind and helpful and also gave us a flexible check-out time. We would strongly recommend this lovely coach house for a beautiful Suffolk get-away.

We had a fabulous stay at the caravan, it has everything you need and is very comfortable. It is very clean and cosy. Tracy is the best host and goes beyond helping you feel at home. The site in June was quiet which is what we like. There are wonderful walks on the doorstep and the beach is two minutes away. Mersea island is a little gem!

This is our third time staying with Kelly and yet again we had a great time and experience. The caravan is spotless and in a lovely location. Kelly was an excellent host as she always is. Hopefully we will be back next year!

A really lovely place to stay. Peaceful, spacious and great value. Lots of parking and amenities. Only wish we’d stayed longer!

Perfect place for a little break. Cleanest caravan we’ve ever stayed in! Bedding looked, felt and smelt fresh, bathroom, toilet and kitchen all clean and well equipped, and Yussuf was quick to respond with any questions. We’d definitely stay again.

We had the most amazing stay at Sprotts farm, in the brambles. The cottage itself was lovely and so homely, and there were lovely dog walks straight from the door, but to then add in a gorgeous outdoor pool and an excellent games room just propelled this holiday in to one of our favourites. Alica and family were on hand to help with any info if needed, but we're not overbearing at all. We would highly recommend Sprotts farm to anybody and will definitely return. Polly was an amazing host. Very welcoming and considerate. The only downside was that there is no air conditioning. Which would not normally be an issue in this part of England except for our stay there was a heatwave. Polly did provide a fan on request. On the upside the pool was incredibly uncomfortable and useful. The property is exceptional and we look forward to staying again.

Carls place was very homely. Nice to stay at. Location is in a quiet area, so was very good. Carl was constantly checking to see if we were ok and whether we required anything.

Wow! Lee's place is bloody lovely. It had everything we could have needed. The garden was a great spot to sit in with a coffee & perfectly secure for our dog too. Thank you so much for the use of your home. And such a perfect place for beachy walks too; literally 5 mins walk to Dovercourt Beach, 10 mins walk down to the cafe & amusements (which my teen boys loved). We had a lovely break

Harrison was the most welcoming host and accommodating. Great communication, the place was clean, cosy and had everything you needed and looked exactly as it looks and described. Short walk to the beach and town centre or short drive to local shops/retail park. Would deffo use Harrison again for our next visit.

This accommodation is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. There are lots of lovely local walks and a couple of convenience stores and pubs within walking distance. There are lots location is peaceful with a nice outdoor courtyard garden. Occasionally footsteps can be heard from above the bedroom due to the accommodation being underneath part of the owner’s home.

The place was really good location Clean ,tidy Only thing we would say is the bathroom and bedroom would benefit from a Venetian blind Like the kitchen one As we had to keep the curtains in bedroom and roller blind in bathroom shut all the time as the windows were big and felt looked upon from people outside We would definitely stay again

Seriously fantastic holiday let ! Sean's place is situated along a quiet small lane, yet also close to the village's amenities ...stylishly furnished with quality fittings and appliances and everything for a ' home from home' stay catered for. Sean provided clear instructions on how to find the property and the self check in is very easy. Location is fantastic, easy reach of all countryside and coastal attractions and lots of beautiful walks within a short distance. Our elderly Labrador loved the place and has a new spring in his step. The annexe is very clean, well laid out and with a lovely courtyard outside....we will definitely return soon...Thank you Sean very much !

Had a lovely time at Alison’s place and enjoyed the peaceful area. Good place to recharge one’s batteries before going back to daily life.

First time visiting Colchester and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Home from home and the location was absolutely perfect, literally right next to the castle park and less than a 5 minute walk to the castle and high street. Peaceful and super clean. Reilly was the perfect host. Friendly, responsive and helpful. Kitchen had everything we needed to dine in. Bed was comfy and linen was clean. The bathroom was also spotless! Thank you for having us and we will definitely be returning. 5 star 🌟 stay x
