The house at the end of the world.

THE HOUSE AT THE END OF THE WORLD. No, not quite, but nicely away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our holiday property (house with 2 apartments with separate entrances) is located on the outskirts of Benneckenstein, directly on the Rappbode. 4500 sqm of land also invite you to campfire, camping and in winter to toboggan on your own toboggan slope. The house is only a vacation property. So it has no permanent tenants. Since dogs are allowed in both apartments, we ask you to be considerate of each other.

Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation with its own garden, sauna and hot tub and direct access to the hiking trails in the beautiful Harz Mountains. The colorful city of Wernigerode with its cultural and culinary offerings and the beautiful half-timbered houses is within walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes). Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area).

From our apartment you can start and reach your destinations in about 20 minutes. The apartment 37 in the house on the lake (Lange Str. 2 in *contact info removed* staircase) offers a total of 50 m² of living space. Located on the 3rd floor, the apartment has one bedroom and a living area with a full kitchen and dishwasher. In the bedroom there is a double bed and a wardrobe with plenty of storage space. In the living room, the apartment also has an electric fireplace.

In the middle of downtown Hasselfelde, you will find our vacation rental "Altes Uhrwerk" in an old half-timbered house. The name is reminiscent of the craft that was practiced here in the house until a few years ago.
