Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Hastings County

This place was exactly as described and location is great. We came in a heat wave and ac worked well. Had to drop the temp to get upstairs where our baby was sleeping cold enough but it didn't take long for that to happen. The primary bedroom was comfortable, but we both found the bed in the bedroom directly across from the primary wasn't too comfortable. woke up with back pain the night I slept in this one. we didn't use the 3rd bed so can't comment. we didn't use the sandbanks passes (too hot) but I assume that's a nice bonus. would still stay here again!

This is the second time we've stayed at the Globe House in Prince Edward County. We found even more to love the house and Prince Edward County in general. Fred's always been so accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had, something we appreciate about a good host. Waking up to a wide array of birds at the feeder and falling asleep to the moon, stars and fireflies in (often) perfect view really makes this remote stay feel even more magical; like being in a fantasy land. The best part is that although it feels remote, it's only a 15 min drive to the biggest town in PEC. The place is always well kept, clean and spacious. We're already making plans to come back!

Beautiful location in the country side. Close to Cobourg with its beach and restaurants. We will stay again the next time we go.

Fantastic location, stunning property. We really enjoyed our girls weekend at Jay’s. It was exactly as described and the house was beautifully designed and for the most part, very well-maintained despite being in the country. It’s not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. We had a hiccup in the beginning of our stay, but Jay is a masterclass in hospitality and used it as an opportunity to really turn things around for us. Jay is responsive and efficient and as guests we really appreciated that. We hope to be back!

We had a brief but wonderful midweek stay. The location was great, clean, and as seen in the photos. Very well equipped for a longer stay, family-friendly, and the hosts were very responsive. Will book again.

We had a wonderful stay at Trevor’s! The house is clean, comfortable, and in a beautiful location. Easy access for biking to wineries and the millennium trail. Check in was easy and Trevor was very communicative. We’d absolutely stay again!

Highly recommend Prince’s place! It was exactly as described, was in a great location and was extremely well equipped. Prince was super communicative and checkin/out was quite simple. Great spot for a weekend away!

My family of 5 and 3 dogs enjoyed our stay! It was very relaxing and description was as described and more. Even though the wifi did not work, Elyse was very accommodating and helpful! She remained reliable and available throughout our entire stay. Would definitely recommend this stay to family and friends.

Natalia and Evgeney were great hosts. They were both very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Check-in was flexible and easy thanks to Evgeney, who did a great job at setting us up with our cabin. The cabin itself was exactly as advertised. We found it to be very clean. The view of Rice Lake from our cabin was great, and the area is really peaceful and quiet. Overall, we had a great time here! It was a perfect relaxing weekend.

What a fantastic weekend at this lovely home! Anna couldn’t have been more welcoming and provided great recommendations for local restaurants. The home was beautiful, spacious and we loved the elegant yet very fun decor. Perfect size for our two families (group of 8). Despite the somewhat chilly weather our girls had a great time using the outdoor pool and loved the pool noodles/floats. Anna made us feel very welcome with a note and treats. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes. We definitely appreciated the coffee, tea and sugar provided. We enjoyed every minute and highly recommend!

It was a great Experience that we visited this nice cottage. Clean neat perfect place for a family with lots of amenities. No one will regret choosing this place as their vacation home. The host is very responsive and never gets late for whatever you need.

We had a wonderful stay at Susan & Craig’s cottage by Rice Lake! The place was peaceful, clean, and beautifully located—perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was getting early access to their lovely pool, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made our trip even more enjoyable. Susan & Craig were kind and responsive hosts, and their attention to detail really showed. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to visit again!

We had a great stay at the Addison Farmhouse for my bachelorette weekend! Check-in was super easy, and the host provided clear instructions. The house looked just like the photos—spacious, charming, and perfect for a group getaway. Everything was pretty clean and well-kept, which made settling in really comfortable. Would definitely recommend this spot for a fun and relaxed weekend with friends!

We have stayed here many times now and it feels like home. It’s nice to know what to expect every visit.

We had an incredible stay at Michelle and Gary’s beautiful designer cottage! The space is stunning, with an amazing view that instantly puts you at ease. It truly feels like a luxury hotel—every detail has been thoughtfully curated. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed (just bring your food!), and the bedrooms were super comfortable. Bathrooms were spotless and well-maintained. The layout is perfect for multiple families, with a large open area to gather and plenty of cozy nooks to relax and unwind separately. The boathouse was a big hit—it’s well-equipped with lots of water sports gear, and the dock is a great spot for fishing. An ideal getaway!! we’re already looking forward to coming back!

We had a very lovely and peaceful time at Mike and Rosa's lakeside cabin. The cabin was incredibly well decorated and well equipped. So many thoughtful touches from the hosts, even including snacks for us to enjoy! We were so happy to have popcorn for our movie night on the projector and s'mores for the fire pit. We made great use of the kayak and paddle board on our stay and were very comfortable in the cabin. My dog also had a great time and I really appreciated the dog bowls and towels on hand! The location is just lovely and private. I could not recommend staying at this cabin enough and I have already recommended it to friends. Thank you Mike and Rosa!! We really had the most wonderful stay!

Joshua's home was absolutely perfect for a golf week with friends. We couldn't have picked a better place. For starters, the amazing backyard, fire pit, sauna, BBQ, outdoor patio dining area, and gorgeous surroundings - and you haven't even entered the home yet. When inside, everything was spotless, there were lots of cooking utensils, pots, and basics, as well as extremely comfortable beds, crispy clean linens, and cozy couches for watching the hockey game. Joshua was also very flexible for us, provided quick answers to our messages, and gave us a great home handbook to ensure we knew all the ins and outs. Can't wait for next year to book again!

The perfect get away

This was such a fun and unique experience. Loved everything about it. My husband and I came here as a birthday escape (his birthday is the day before mine) and enjoyed the relax time. We lead super busy lives with 3 kids so it was a nice change of pace to unplug and reconnect. Thanks for providing such a beautiful experience for people to enjoy. 10/10 would recommend.... worth every penny.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the tiny home on our honeymoon! The place was beautiful, private, and we LOVED the sauna and cold plunge amenity. One thing I will say is that the location is VERY remote, and you will be 25 minutes from the nearest store, gas station, or restaurant. So make sure to stock up on any supplies! We only had one roll of paper towels and one trash bag for our stay which was fine, but considering the remoteness, you’re definitely gonna need some more supplies than that! There is also a fork in the road where you must choose between two cabin names we weren’t aware of, but take the left road! While this place is very private because of the location, be prepared to be VERY exposed due to lack of any blinds or privacy curtains. At night with lights on, you can clearly see into the entire cabin and bathroom from outside, so that was quite an adjustment for us, especially sleeping. Overall we had so much fun at this cabin and would definitely return!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Silo — it was the perfect cozy getaway! Every detail was so thoughtfully done, and the space was even cuter in person. The homemade pizza dough was such a sweet and unique touch — it made the experience feel extra special. Thank you for creating such a memorable stay. We truly enjoyed every minute of it.
