Lawrence and his wife bought us fresh cinnamon buns on Saturday morning as a treat! Was a great surprise! Sorry we didn’t get to enjoy his famous fries! One of the funniest individuals my three brothers and I have had the pleasure of conversing with! He s a comedian at heart and offers a great slice of heaven to enjoy on a beautiful property and accommodations! Lots of cool places to hang out and relax on the property! We will be making a return visit for sure!

Another fantastic stay at Darryl and Karen’s Airbnb, new this season was a rechargeable fan, a mosquito net around the doors that lets in the breeze, a beautiful bench in the woods, and hand-crafted trail signs. My dog and I are so grateful for this beautiful property and the hosts. Will be back soon!

An adorable place to stay that’s so close to Sandbanks! We had such a wonderful weekend and enjoyed waking up lakeside looking out our window onto the water. The space had everything we needed and was so clean and well kept.

Such a cozy space that accurately reflected the Air BNB listing! The location was approximately 15 minute away from downtown Picton by car which was a major plus for us. Sally was proactive with her communication with us and always quick to respond to our messages. We arrived late in the evening and there was limited lighting along the long driveway which made it slightly more challenging when we first got there but this wasn't a huge deal. Sally has a large sign with arrows indicating for you to follow to the cabin & where to park your vehicle which was helpful. The cabin was well-furnished and clean. The bed and seating were very comfortable. Mother nature wasn't completely on our side for our weekend getaway as it rained and was slightly too cold for us to make use of the beautiful screened in porch, the fire pit or explore down by the water on the property. The cabin has a nice remote controlled fire place that adds an extra cozy touch. We would definitely recommend!

I stayed here for two nights and had a great experience. The cabin and porta potty was clean and kitchen area had most things you may need to cook. Pat was very helpful and brought me a kayak and left me firewood to use (10$ each as described on the listing). I was alone the first night and second night stayed with a very nice couple - as a female travelling alone, I felt very safe as the owner’s home is very close by on the property. Pat checked in everyday to see how I was and if I needed anything. There is a beach within a couple minutes walk from the property and was very clean to swim in. I was able to relax and enjoy the serenity and also explore the area (Bonnechere provincial park and the Killaloe market). First night I heard some wolves (awesome) and second night I did not sleep well since it was raining and very loud - the cabin was still great and bed was very comfy. I will definitely come back, thanks Pat and Gasheida!!!

This was exactly the camping experience we were looking for. Robert’s place was cute, rustic and peaceful and had all that we needed for our getaway weekend. My dog loved the property and there were some great views of the sunset by the pond. We made some great memories this weekend by the campfire and visiting the town of Marmora and will definitely come again!

We had an awesome stay, May Long weekend, at Darren’s Off Grid Cottage. Right on the lake with a great dock to watch the sun go down. It really was a great setup to enjoy all the pleasures of a weekend away in the woods. Great location for getting out for day trips around a beautiful spot in Ontario. Thanks Darren!

Amazing location and perfect for a family getaway. The place was clean and modern. Paddle boards were a lot of fun and close to great beaches. Would only suggest to include a small microwave.

Spent the most amazing weekend at big Tiny! The house was so clean and beautiful, the windows and balcony were great. Watching and meeting the horses was our highlight, we had so much fun with them and they even came by our campfire to hangout. The walks through the field were stunning. Very close to silent lake provincial park where we went for a nice swim, 100% recommend for others!

We had a wonderful time at Barkview Hideaway! The owners are clearly experienced hosts, you can tell as soon as you walk into the chalet. They do a great job anticipating guests' needs. The place is cozy, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything you might need and more. Nestled in the forest, it offers stunning views of the lake. The lake itself is gorgeous. We visited during a peaceful time and barely saw anyone else around. It felt like we had the whole area to ourselves. A unique experience! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. Thank you for providing everything we needed for a perfect getaway!

The place felt perfect for the two of us and our dog. We needed to unwind a bit and the place totally allowed for it: It was extremely clean and very well appointed. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Ryan was very prompt in his responses and we would absolutely love to be back again.

This place is a gem! Our visit was a family of 4 (two toddlers) and we loved how safe the property was to let them roam around while we cooked or sat by the fire. The outdoor shower was perfect for such a hot day and we just loved being able to connect with nature while having the comfort of an indoor space :) Sharmine was very responsive and easy to communicate, won’t hesitate to recommend!

My husband and two dogs had a great stay at Allan’s cabin! It’s very secluded, private, very well kept and cozy! Allan was a great host and super easy to communicate with. Will definitely be back soon!!

Such a quaint private cabin situated on a large farm property. The host had complimentary farm fresh eggs, fresh jam cookies, and a scavenger hunt on trails within the property for guests to explore. There were also llamas and chickens on the way in and maple syrup, jam, and more farm fresh eggs for sale. They had a detailed instruction manual with directions on how to work the heater, compost toliet, taps, and all other equipment. The instructions are clear and everything makes sense if you follow their directions. The bed was extremely cozy and comfortable. We had a great stay and highly recommend this cabin!

Really good place to live, the place had everything you can ask for kayaking, fireplace, bikes, trails to try. The place was really nice, radek took so much time to work on the place and it was one of the most beautiful place I’ve stayed in. Really enjoyed my time there. Thank you radek :)

Had such an amazing stay at On the Syde! We went here for a weekend and it had everything we needed. It was super cute and clean and very close to shops and restaurants. Cheryl was also an amazing host, she even greeted when we got there. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay was outstanding. Very quiet and the lake view was amazing.

My sister and I spent the weekend here and could not have had a better time! The lake was so beautiful and relaxing and the cabin was the perfect size. Angela is a top notch host and anyone would be lucky to stay here!

Our stay here was absolutely dreamy. Mackenzie got us settled in promptly, and we immediately felt at home. My husband and I were left in beautiful, completely private bliss! When you walk in the cabin, the sweet smell of wood hits you, just so cozy. The bed is comfy, and clean, on par with the rest of the cabin! The lake is stocked with canoe/kayaks and the water was just right. End the night with a romantic fire, and some board games before bed. Our stay exceeded expectations by a long shot. Thank you to our fabulous hosts.

This tiny house was perfect for my husband, myself and our dog. The place was immaculately clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our three nights here. Close walk to the harbour, downtown and a beautiful park system along with a very large fenced dog park. Debbie was a pleasure to talk with and I highly recommend staying here to everyone. If we are ever back in Picton, we would definitely stay here again.

This off-grid bunker right on the water was an unforgettable experience! The location is peaceful, remote and perfect for anyone looking to unplug and step away from the commotion of city life. Waking up to a view of the water just steps away was absolutely breathtaking. One of the best parts? It’s pet friendly, so I was able to bring my dog along! He had a blast exploring the area. It made the trip even more special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique, peaceful retreat with a bit of adventure—and especially if you want to bring your furry friend along!.
