Holiday rentals with a kayak in Hatteras Island

We had an amazing stay and felt right at home! It was exactly as described. Both the sound and ocean were in walking distance. We even had a few stores we could walk to. We would definitely come again!

Kite's Inn was exactly as advertised and more. The home is beautiful, well-furnished, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved the location with great views of the Pamlico Sound. The House was ideal for pets and small children. The grass yard allowed our dogs to play outside and to swim in the Sound without having to worry about stepping on burs and the beach was ideal for our 1 1/2 year old grand child. The house is easy walking distance to nearby attractions and restaurants. Joshua is a great host who was responsive and proactive with ideas when we had a rainy day.

What a find! The house is beautiful. Dawn and Dave are great and very responsive. We had so much fun and felt right at home the entire time. We can't wait to be back! Don't miss the opportunity to stay at Pamlico Hound....you wont regret it.

This is our 2nd time staying at Tiffany’s lovely cottage and it was just as amazing as the 1st time. Great location, very clean - such a wonderful little spot. We will be returning again 😊

Mark and Paul's place is beautiful. it is unfortunate that one of the properties across the road is in rough shape, but all other nearby properties are in excellent condition. The yard overlooking the canal is gorgeous. Do note that as with most properties in OBX, a flight of stairs is necessary to enter the house. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the bedrooms are extremely comfortable. Everything was spotless. We, unfortunately had rain, much of the time we were there, but did enjoy the exploring we could do. Absolutely recommend Sunrise Seafood, the fresh shrimp, crab cakes and swordfish were fabulous! Froggy Dog, ok, but not spectacular. We did enjoy Oceanas Bistro...especially the fresh tuna griller! Mark and Paul are not new to Air BNB and their attention to detail shows.

This place were everything we hoped for and more. The house was very clean, well decorated, and well supplied with all cooking utensils and anything else you might need. It even had a good selection of spices and seasonings to use for cooking. The space under the house was a great hangout area for kids and adults alike. The view of the sound was amazing and the dock was great. The kayaks and paddle board were a very cool plus. Overall a five star experience and and we hope to come back next year!

We had a lovely stay for a last-minute Memorial Day weekend at the OBX in this rental. The hosts were communicative, helpful, friendly and provided so many nice extra touches for their guests. The home was wonderfully decorated, steps from the pool and the beach, and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Would recommend staying at this rental to anyone looking for a lovely home with ample indoor and outdoor space that is close to so many of the OBX's best restaurants and activities!

This was a wonderful place to go and relax. The house was clean and had plenty of space. The owners provided canoes which was amazing to go out and enjoy the breathtaking views from the water. We cooked, ate and enjoyed every minute of catching up with our friends and family at our stay. The beach access wasn't far from the house but we really enjoyed the house sound side of our stay. I would definitely go back and recommend.

My family and I had a wonderful stay, the house was well stocked. We had trouble getting the TV to work, Sandy was very quick to try to help. Unfortunately there was an outage on the island, but she still tried to help! Highly recommended!

This house was very nice. The neighborhood is beautiful and it was centrally located to all the things we wanted to see in OBX. We liked having comfy beds for everyone and covered parking. Goldie was very communicative. It would be nice to have shampoo and body wash in the bathrooms (no one else in my family brought any 😂) and access to beach chairs and sand toys would be a helpful addition since it’s so close to the shore. We had a very pleasant stay at Amy’s home nestled in a very quiet and serene sound side neighborhood. We found Just Enough to be more than enough for 2 and a dog! Loved the screened porch and spent almost every evening out there just relaxing and watching the storms on rain days. We were a very short drive to some really great restaurants- loved the sandwiches from Pamlico Deli and steamed shrimp from Tavern 12! Great nearby coffee shops, gift shops, and bakeries (get an Apple Ugly from Orange Blossom!). The jeep rental spot is one road over so that was convenient for our beach off-roading day. For one first time visitor (2 if you count the dog), and one returning to OBX after many years, we couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay down in Frisco at Just Enough. Highly recommend this rental and we would absolutely return on a future visit to the Outer Banks. Thank you for everything!

Great place to stay. Beautiful house and scenery.

I cannot say enough about this property, it has it all! Walkable beaches, clean home, private cul-du-sac neighborhood, comfy and cozy feel inside the house, amazing amenities included! We had a great vacation filled with many core memories for myself and my family. Chris was very attentive and any questions we had that were not answered in the guidebook he provided were handled by him personally. 10/10 experience from start to finish!
