Christine advised us well on the choice of accommodation. It had a pleasant freshness despite the heat outside. She responded very quickly to our requests.

Katia was an amazing host during our stay at her Airbnb. She shared valuable information to visit the burgundy area, the apartment was in excellent condition, the internet was good, she got us some food when the restaurants were closed. She also made my mom’s birthday extra special with some thoughtful details. We felt like we were staying at a friend’s home which is how a true Airbnb experience should be.

Great place in a beautiful setting with very sweet people. The house is decorated with extreme attention. Everything is there to live well, and there is a lot to do for children. The area is beautiful and very quiet. And the hosts are very sweet and attentive. Great place where we will definitely come back!

Not many travelers get to say that they’ve stayed in a chateau like Jacques’ in Thenissey. I live in Dijon and used to work in the area so when I found this accommodation to surprise my mom & brother during their visit, we were all overwhelmed with the simple beauty of this chateau and the countryside around it. Jacques is very kind and welcoming. If we needed anything, he was just a phone call away. He offered to show us around his chateau and we regret not finding the time to do so in our plans. The accommodation is modern and up to date with everything you need, including in the kitchen and two bathrooms. A train does by pass by but you will need a car to explore the region. And come already equipped with groceries and a full tank of gas because the closest supermarket is about 15-20min away! We absolutely loved the moats, “feeding” the fish, the staircase into the basement, and even the chateau-smell that makes this experience absolutely worth it during your visit to Burgundy.
