Holiday rentals with lake access in Havelock-Belmont-Methuen

I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week at the cottage with my 2 boys. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The outdoor spaces were beautuful and the kids and I spent a lot of time on the swings and in the hammock. The lake was perfect for swimming (the kids especially loved the big floating mat) and we enjoyed exploring the lake in the canoe as well! The kids have been asking to go back ever since!

Tanya and Peter were very responsive and their place is so lovely! So peaceful! They really have thought of everything. Thank you very much! Would recommend to couples looking to have a unique place to stay and just have time together.

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

Stjepan and Irina were very welcoming, and friendly. Very easy to communicate! We enjoyed all the amenities, the view was breathtaking, perfect for our group of 10 people!

Highly recommend Prince’s place! It was exactly as described, was in a great location and was extremely well equipped. Prince was super communicative and checkin/out was quite simple. Great spot for a weekend away!

James' Lakehouse was the perfect getaway. Incredibly clean, comfortable, quiet and a gorgeous location with easy access to all PEC has to offer.. The hottub with the view of the lake was the cherry on top. We'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at Gabby’s cottage. We were pleasantly surprised by the space in the bunkie & the property itself. Plenty of space for 7 adults + and infant. Looking forward to visiting this property again!

Art’s place is one of the best places I’ve stayed at. It’s a big property with lots of space. The waterfront was pristine with clear water and no weeds. The interior has plenty of space to play games, enjoy the view and simply just relax. We would love to spend an entire week there the next time if Art would welcome us back.

Pam was terrific from the start - she was very responsive and helpful in all of our communication leading up to our stay. She was there to let us in and give us a tour of the space, but then she disappeared and left us to get settled in. The house has some great history and it is a 3 minute walk to the Main Street of a lovely village that is a great central location from which to explore the whole area. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable and the bathroom was large and well equipped. There is a small sitting area that is fine for beginning and end of the day (no TV - which at first was a bit of a surprise, but we actually enjoyed not having that as a default to entertaining ourselves). Pam is an artist (very good) and a lot of her work is displayed in the space which enhances the area. An excellent value, comfortable space, lovely host.

Derek and Doreen were extremely friendly, responsive, and hospitable, everything in the suite and in the backyard was as shown, if not better. They even gave us a gift as we had mentioned our wedding day was the day prior, couldn’t recommend them and this place enough, we would book again in a heart beat, thanks for everything Derek and Doreen!

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Simona’s place! The property was beautiful with serene lake access, and the two decks made our evening hangouts especially comfortable and enjoyable. The house was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a stress-free and relaxing stay. Simona was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she went out of her way to make our visit comfortable, especially with our infant. Her thoughtfulness and hospitality truly made a difference. Thank you, Simona, for a memorable experience — we’d love to return!

Highly recommend. The dock and the area by the lake are beautiful. And you get the entire view from the unit as well.

Wonderful hosts with outstanding HOT homemade breakfasts! Really appreciated the extra perks of magnifier make-up mirror, house coat, lush towels, several Keurig coffee pod choices and 2 choices for my own private exterior sitting area. Level access and close parking to entrance, extra wide interior doors. MaryAnn was spot on for my food choices even including 10% cream for my morning coffee and crisp bacon. Very large space with two large bedrooms, slept like a baby and the TV included all the streaming you would want Close to Art College and short drive into town of Haliburton. It was a bit chilly for June but Gerry turned on the propane fireplace then all was cozy. Book it - you won't be disappointed!

A perfect stay as a solo traveller. The space is clean and beautifully appointed with lovely views and gorgeous sunsets. Shops nearby, great base to explore the county or break a long road journey. Would highly recommend

A great find in a quiet neighborhood close by to the shore and Whitby GO. Danny and Annette were friendly and responsive hosts, who made it possible for us to settle in to their space and feel at home. The apartment was clean and cozy, and we loved having access to the private sauna in our suite!

Had an awesome stay! Felt settled in almost immediately. The view alone made the stay worth it—just beautiful. Would absolutely stay again!

Not only was the cottage & property absolutely breathtaking, Kimberly was great at responding to any questions I had leading up to our trip and gave us a great tip on navigating the drive up. She also provided a variety of basic condiments, spices, all the bath towels, and kitchen utensils you would need so we were really able to feel comfortable and make this place feel like home away from home for the weekend. They also provided clear, fool-proof instructions on starting up the sauna and indoor fireplace. Would 100% recommend to others & book again for myself! Thank you Kimberly!

The place is beautiful! Even better than the pictures. The hot tub was so relaxing and the view is gorgeous. Lots of privacy for a quiet getaway. The place is very clean and Jess is a great host. She’s very friendly and responsive and also gives you privacy which we really appreciated. The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay, the host has even thought about the small things! We loved this place and I would definitely recommend it!! We would love to visit again! :)

It was great to be back again. The place was wonderful again and we truly appreciate all that Tim & Cindy do to keep the place up and looking nice. We also noticed that there was a new wood stove which was a lot nicer for keeping the place warm at night as we had a couple of chilly nights, so thank you for that upgrade. we really enjoy the place and the location in proximity to the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aubrae and Peter’s beautiful waterfront property. The location is quiet and serene, and the home itself is spectacular and very well equipped with anything you could possibly require for your time there. Communication was excellent, and any questions we had were quickly and cheerfully answered. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area, and hope to return for another visit ourselves!

Victor and Sara was an amazing host! We love are stay at the place. The view of outside was simply amazing and you will not regret staying at there place. I reccomend this place to anyone and we will come back for sure!

This cottage was amazing. The place was entirely as described and the prior reviews were spot on. Roxana was very helpful, gave tons of recommendations and was very kind and responsive. Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were super comfortable, the AC was perfect and I literally can’t think of a single critique. A really nice touch with the s’mores station that my kid basically ate all of. We will definitely be back!!
