Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Hawaiian Paradise Park

Loved this place and Kaleo as a host! We stayed here for our son’s college graduation and it was perfect. Its location is near everything with a beautiful view out back. The house is spacious and has so many items in the kitchen - serving pieces, cooking utensils, pans and spices. It was perfect for hosting our family one evening. It is on a busy street and the airport is across the road, but it didn’t bother us. At night it was just white noise. The back deck was our favorite location. It is huge with a great view of the park and water. Kaleo was so nice, texting to make sure we were comfortable and even gave us a late checkout after graduation. Thanks!

Off the beaten path kind of location. Not in a commercial area, so very quiet location. Beautiful views all day! Place has been well kept. Slept to the sounds of waves every night and woke up to sunrises. Janice strives to make you feel right at home. place had games, beach stuff (boogie board, chairs, mats, beach games, cooler). These are the tropics so expect some bugs; no escaping that. Host is very responsive and takes care of anything that may happen.

Great location and available amenities for our party of 6. We would definitely stay at Julie’s place again whenever we are near Hilo.

We had a wonderful time staying minutes away from Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. Anytime the volcano started to get active we could easily go and see it in person. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Would recommend and come back!

My family and I planned a trip "home" for our father who was born and raised in Hilo. We wanted to make it extra special where we could be together and get some rest and relaxation. I have to say, we were so grateful to have found this home! Our group consisted of 6 adults and 2 children. We all had ample space to spread out and we each had plenty of privacy. We prepared breakfast/lunch and snacks at the house which has a good size kitchen and went to Hilo for dinner each night. Hilo is an easy 20–30-minute drive from Keeau. The house was very clean and well stocked with paper goods, linens, etc. They do a good job maintaining the exterior which I know can be tough given the proximity to the water. We were able to watch the sunrise each morning from the deck! Any issue that popped up was immediately addressed and resolved by the management team. The trip was so special that we are going to make it annual, and we all look forward to returning to Mika Kai again!

Hilo Shangrila is a stunning, private oasis that provides the glory of the ocean without the busy crowds. We loved sitting on the cliffs and watching the sea turtles! Also had a few crabs and a mongoose while we sat and watched the waves. We also enjoyed being able to swim and look at the ocean at the same time! Amazing! The hot tub was fabulous as well, especially after getting out of the pool. The place is private which was fantastic! One neighbor doesn’t live there and the other keeps to themselves for the most part. There are a few people who come and stand and walk across the cliffs from nearby rentals but they don’t stay long and they move on quickly. We enjoyed the birds, and watching the geckos. The coqui frogs can be a bit much for those used to extremely quiet places when we sleep but we were usually tired enough from enjoying the day that it didn’t matter. Beautiful Maku’u Point was right up the road as well! The only bad part is having to use fans and ac machines. A+

Absolutely fabulous location to relax and enjoy the beautiful view. My family had a great time. I was a bit worried about not having AC, but once all the windows were open and fans were on it cooled off quickly and we had no issues during our stay.

We loved our stay. We are frequent visitors to Big Island and this house by far is our favorite…we will definitely be booking here again. Can’t miss with this home!

A wonderful place away from the busy city! Our family enjoyed this home and all it had to offer, the pool, soaking tub, beautiful plants, frog hunting :) and even the games left for the guests. We traveled into Hilo most of the days here but our host gave us wonderful local recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. It was a beautiful home tucked away in a beautiful botanical garden!

Perfect spot in Volcano to explore from!

This is our second time staying in this beautiful home. Being so close to the ocean is fantastic. Such wonderful views from the bedrooms and kitchen/living room. Our family of six made many wonderful meals in the open concept, kitchen and enjoyed dining on the lanai. Be sure not to miss the sunrise as you’re enjoying your morning coffee. Kim was once again wondeful host. We truly appreciated her generosity in offering us a few extra hours at checkout and refunding our cleaning deposit. We have family that lives in HPP and we try to come out regularly to visit. This will continue to be our go to spot if it’s available. Thank you for another wonderful stay Kim!!

Lotus on Jade is a beautiful property nestled just down the road from Volcano National Park. The rooms are clean and bright and it has everything you need. The small details are not missed with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided and the mini fridge stocked with water and small snacks. The use of the portable space heat was perfect for the cold nights. And the hot tub is perfect for two! 1000% would stay at Lotus on Jade again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lotus on Jade - the hot tub was great for unwinding after some hiking around the national park, and the rooms and beds comfortable and cozy. Thank you, U’ilani and Jade for helping make our visit to Volcano memorable!

Lovely wooden cottage, hidden in Volcano village, few min. drive to Volcano national park. Surrounded in lush greenery, tranquil, very well furnished and cozy.

The only thing that made me uncomfortable was the shower drain button. Water kept accumulating, and I had to keep pressing the button constantly to let it drain. But that’s an easy fix. Everything else was absolutely 5 stars—thank you so much for hosting!

5 STARS 5 STARS 5 STARS!!! My girlfriend and I went here for our 1 year anniversary and it was pure bliss. Far enough away from the city so you can have your own peace and comfort but close enough to drive wherever on the island. We loved the solitude of the location and the soothing sounds of rain, frogs, and birds surrounding the place. This place is a gem! To add, Malie was very responsive before, during, and after the process! Super helpful with great suggestions and clear instructions. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and experience!

What a great retreat, it’s like a cozy nestled rainforest sanctuary but in Hawaii. Cozy, quaint, clean and perfect proximity to the natl, park.

Great place to stay out in the Rainforest. Dawn is very responsive and a great host. Definitely recommend for those looking to stay out in the forest instead of in town. Definitely a remote spot, great set up.

We are so happy we discovered this hidden gem and will definitely be returning! It was the most incredible place we have stayed on the big islands: a perfect mixture between luxurious and natural! The pool front bungalows are pristine, comfortable and clean and are on an amazing pool deck which is like a huge tree house built in and around a vast forest of endemic Ohia trees! The pool deck features a pool, hot tub, rain showers, clean bathrooms, shared kitchen and a lounge area with many tranquil areas to relax and enjoy the forest. Drinking my morning tea in the hot tub, I saw several native birds flying among the Ohia trees! I highly recommend this place for people of all ages! My children loved it and enjoyed the freedom of not having to wear swim suits! Hosts were responsive and flexible and very accommodating!

We loved are stay the location was perfect. Star gazing at night, the fireplace was nice. Fully stock kitchen. A few roaches here at there… lol although it was cold at night and early mornings the house was stocked with extra blankets heaters etc. that was much appreciated. The only down side is only one bathroom. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
