Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Heemskerk

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

Very warm welcome from Ruud and Peter, immediate help with lifting. The house was completely as expected, and a little better. A comfortable bed, wonderfully fresh-smelling bedding and towels. Beautiful surroundings and very quiet location. Definitely worth your money .. and I'd love to come back. Thank you !!

This was such a great airbnb I truly don’t really have any dislikes. It’s not directly in the city more on the very outskirts of it so you need to either drive or take the train. The train is about a 5 minute walk from the house and it’s easy to navigate. The space itself was clean and beautiful, Mike and Mike left recommendations and had basically every amenity you would need! Great find for a great price!

Even though this lovely home was located so close by the beach, a walk of 5 minutes, it felt very private and the surroundings are quiet. The home was exceptionally clean, beds were extremely comfortable. It was tastefully decorated and felt like a cozy home. We enjoyed walking to and on the beach, had a delicious dinner in the village and in nearby villages as well. The hosts were very proactive with communication and responded quickly to questions. I am recommending this 100% to anyone interested a stay in Wijk Aan Zee and I am hoping to book this again on my next visit. Excellent stay with Eva who welcomed us because we had arrived on the other side of the place where we had to spend. Quiet, relaxing with the outdoor terrace and the small path. You can go to the beach through the village, SPAR next door, lots of little candy touches, tulips, tea, cakes... Very convenient to park in front of the SPAR lots of free places, a real plus, zero stress. Convenient to visit the kekeunhof We recommend

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. Our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived at a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. We had a great time staying at this place. A nicely furnished and cozy apartment in the center of Alkmaar, in a backyard where the cat greets you every morning. Everything has been thought of and Vincent and Grace are very accommodating and helpful. I recommend this place!

Lovely apartment and quiet neighborhood!

Our stay at Monica and Pasqual’s was excellent. The home is exactly what is depicted in the photos. Monica and Pasqual’s communication with us was excellent and when we asked about our bicycles they provided us with a solid lock so we could safely leave them in the front yard. The huge bedroom windows overlook an intersection and I loved sitting in bed with the morning sun streaming in, enjoying my early morning coffee while watching the local people go about life. The location was perfect for us to walk from the train/bus station or cycle to family and friends.

We had a wonderful time at this beachfront home. The location is fantastic and the area offers many opportunities for recreation and exploration. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful – their tips for excursions and activities were very valuable. The apartment itself is very luxuriously furnished and equipped with everything you need. We felt completely comfortable and can absolutely recommend this place!

Wonderful space! Beautiful interior, very well equipped for everything you might need over a long weekend stay. Marina was lovely, very helpful and communicative. The bed was extremely comfortable, location excellent, every part of the space is well thought out and would highly recommend it to anyone!

We had a great time in this sweet apartment. We loved sitting in the living room overlooking the canal and appreciated the great shower and overall layout of the apartment. The location is fantastic. Very residential and more peaceful than other parts of the city we have been to. We highly recommend it!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Our stay with MorningStar in Amsterdam was absolutely exceptional. The home was pristine, beautifully designed, and full of luxurious touches that made our three-night stay unforgettable. We arrived to find thoughtful treats like fresh fruit and chocolate waiting for us—such a warm welcome! The location was perfect: central, quiet, and incredibly walkable, which made it easy for our family of four to explore the city. Every detail exceeded our expectations.
