Family-friendly holiday rentals in Heemstede

Amsterdam, Haarlem, beach (free tandem and bikes!)

Living in a family friendly environment in a nice small village south of Haarlem, near Amsterdam and the beach. You are living in my private house, with a nice secluded back garden, a sitting area in front of the house and a fully equipped kitchen. Excellent transportation facilities including my tandem and bikes to be used for free. The house is suitable for up to 5 people, max 6 , with 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds. No students and please be aware no use of weed in and around the house.

Windmill close to Amsterdam!!

Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

2 Floor Apartment with Large kitchen Nieuw-Vennep

Welcome to the holiday apartment top two floors of the house. Own entrance from side of the house. There is a ground floor apartment (mine) and a two floor apartment above (for rent). House is on the water, with many trees, and windows. Big kitchen. Not good if you do not like open staircases. The main bedroom has an attic with extra bed . Close to a supermarket, and the bus to Schiphol (Amsterdam). You may see our dogs outside, and sometimes hear them, when they talk to eachtother.

"The Green Lodge": nature, culture and coziness

A cozy, detached guesthouse with its own entrance and its own (free) parking space. Location: On a quiet road and track (little nuisance), close to forest and nature: 500 meters east is a large forest and 500 meters west the dunes begin. Distances: Station 1.5 km (Haarlem 5 min.Amsterdam 20 minutes and Leiden 14 minutes); Zandvoort (beach+circuit) 7 km; Heemstede 1.7 km; Keukenhof 10 km; Haarlem 4.5 km. Very suitable for culture lovers as well as for hikers and cyclists.

The house was renovated in 2017. It is a semi-detached, single storey-building, situated next to the house of the owners. It has a separate entrance. The house has a living room with open kitchen, access to a terrace with a spendid view of the countryside and a well equipped bathroom with rainshower, a double bedroom with a separable double bed (160 cm) and a smal 1-person bedroom with a single bed. The house is suitable for 3 persons. There is a couch-spare bed in the lounge.

Beautiful garden suite with free parking

With pride and pleasure, I rent a 2-person garden suite in my outdoor accommodation separately from my house in Heemstede including use of a private bathroom (completely renewed in Dec 2022). There is free on-site parking and there is a private terrace. Heemstede Aerdenhout station is across the street, and you can rent bicycles in Zandvoort or Haarlem. It is a 5-minute train ride to Haarlem and a 23-minute train ride to Amsterdam. Relax in this peaceful, stylish outdoor room.

Cozy basement in the bulb region, private entrance.

In the middle of the bulb region, close to the train station, you can stay in our cozy basement with private access and parking. You can relax here! There are drinks in the fridge and a bottle of wine ready for you. There are many possibilities for cycling or hiking among the deer. The cities of Haarlem (10 min.), Leiden (12 min.) and Amsterdam (31 min.) are easily accessible by train. On request, I will be happy to prepare breakfast for you. (€30 for 2 people)

Idyllic Waterside Tiny House Heemstede, AMS nearby

Directly on the water! Breakfast service available. In the beautiful Heemstede, close to forest, beach, sea and dunes, Haarlem and Amsterdam, the Tiny House The Boatshed (boathouse) is located on the water. Located in a beautiful, spacious garden, with private entrance, terrace, lounge set and canopy. Within walking distance of the Groenendaalse forest, Haarlem is 15 minutes by bike. Amsterdam 20 min by train. The Keukenhof in Lisse is 15 km away. A real gem!

SUN studio is located directly at the sea and dunes. You can enjoy sunrise over the dunes and sunset in the sea from your studio. Seating area: sea and kite zone view. Double bed (160x200): dune view. Kitchenette: microwave, kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher and refrigerator (no stove/pans). Bathroom: bath and rain shower. Separate toilet. Balcony. Own entrance. Beds made, towels, WIFI, Netflix included. No pets dogs. Parking for free.

Vacation house near Heemstede train station

My place is close to Heemstede-Aerdenhout train station, from there 20 minutes to Amsterdam or Leiden Central station (every 15 minutes). A 15-minute travel to the historical center of Haarlem or beach and Formula 1 racing circuit in Zandvoort. Multiple restaurants and shops within walking distance. My place is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with children).
