Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Beautiful garden suite with free parking

With pride and pleasure, I rent a 2-person garden suite in my outdoor accommodation separately from my house in Heemstede including use of a private bathroom (completely renewed in Dec 2022). There is free on-site parking and there is a private terrace. Heemstede Aerdenhout train station is just across the street, and you can rent bikes in Zandvoort or Haarlem. It is a 5-minute train ride to Haarlem and a 23-minute train ride to Amsterdam. Relax in this peaceful, stylish outdoor room.

Energy-neutral cozy vacation home

Wooden cottage, self-built in 2020. Mostly with recycled material. There are no less than 20 solar panels on the cottage! The beams and the ridge have remained nicely in sight, which gives a spatial effect. A stable window from the farm where Karin was born has been incorporated into the ridge. The old yellow clinkers from that farm form the terrace, along with the tiles from the basement. As a surprise, husband made a heart in the terrace for Karin! All in all a nice place to stay

Location: On a quiet road and track (little nuisance), close to forest and nature: 500 meters east is a large forest and 500 meters west the dunes begin. Distances: Station 1.5 km (Haarlem 5 min.Amsterdam 20 minutes and Leiden 14 minutes); Zandvoort (beach+circuit) 7 km; Heemstede 1.7 km; Keukenhof 10 km; Haarlem 4.5 km. Nice, new and private. A fully equipped ground-floor studio in a 150 year old riverside house. It has everything to make your stay comfortable. Nice living with a view on the Spaarne River, lovely boxspring bed, and a spacious bathroom with a rain shower. It's a 15-minute walk along the river to the city center, and you can do it in 5 minutes by bikes we provide. 20 min to Amsterdam by bus or train, 20 min to the beach bus/train, bike 30 min. It is 40 minutes from the airport.
