Our apartment has been family-owned for over 100 years and has always been home to people who had a close connection to the Harz Mountains: as farmers of cows in the Upper Harz Mountains, as foresters in the forest and as passionate hikers and nature lovers. Times have changed, but our apartment wants to take up this tradition and pay homage to the Harz Mountains – while at the same time offering a modern style and a high level of comfort. Hauptvermietung März - Nov. im Winter macht es unser kleiner Ofen schön warm, eine Heizung gibt es natürlich auch. Unter der Dachschräge befindet sich eine Küchenecke, die für einfache Gerichte, Kaffee/Tee ausgestattet ist. Im Bad Dusche und WC, im SZ ein Holz-Bett 140x200 cm mit neuer höherer Matratze +Topper und 1 Schrank. Im WZ steht eine Eckcouch, die Platz für 1 Person zum schlafen bietet, 1 Sessel, TV und ein Essplatz für 3 Personen. W-Lan vorhanden.

FW Gustav - the perfect base for your Harz vacation

The apartment is located on the 1st floor of an old farmhouse. The farm, which used to be completely closed, was decisively shaped by Gustav Neuhoff, the hostess's grandfather. Hence the name FW Gustav. The nearest shops are in Derenburg, 6 km away. Heudeber is a quiet village, but the nearby A36 offers quick connections to the highlights of the Harz Mountains. Wernigerode, Halberstadt, Quedlinburg and Goslar can be reached in about 25 minutes.

The homelike studio at "Das Kutscherhäuschen" features wooden floors, solid wood furniture and soft lighting. It has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a seating area and a terrace. The kitchenette is well-equipped for preparing home-cooked meals. Alternatively, several restaurants and cafés can be found within a 10-minute walk. Enjoy the sounds of nature when staying in this special place. In the cozy yurt there is a 1.40 m double bed and a single bed. A toilet and shower (of course with warm water!) are available in the sanitary area on the property. A sauna with a wood-burning stove and panoramic views of the river is also available to all guests. There are many hiking trails and interesting sights to visit nearby.

The dreamy view from the private terrace opens up views of the old town of Blankenburg and the Harz foothills. You are located in the city center. You park under our carport. Access to the Baroque Gardens is less than 300 meters from the property. You are located directly under the large castle of Blankenburg. An ideal starting point for hiking.
