Had a great stay in very tasteful house with a distant view of the ocean. Theis was both nice and responsive. You really move in with Theis while he moves out for the duration. Personal items are fully on display - which some find homey and some find almost too homey 😀.

We had a lovely time in Helsingør & Søren's place was the perfect to explore it from on foot - it was the right size for us and perfect as a place to relax in between being out & about. He was a responsive & friendly host who was willing to help with the minor issues that arose. He accommodated our needs and made it possible for us to check in earlier, which was really helpful on the day. Being allowed to use his collection of board games was an added perk. Bookers should be aware that there will be some intermittent noise, especially on Friday / Saturday when people are out late (the windows don't stop too much noise and people can be inconsiderate), but this isn't a fault with the home, just the reality of a town centre location. We look forward to returning to Søren's home at a later date!

This place was much better than we expected. Bigger than it looks in the pictures. Such a soulful, and modern home. Loved the vibe. Big kitchen with everything you need. It is a bit outside the bustle of town. About a ten minute bike ride. But places in Helsingor are a bit pricey so this was great! Perfect for our family of three.

Fantastic place to stay! The house is really welcoming and authentic. We felt right at home! The house had very good amenities. We had everything we needed. Beautiful garden with fire pit - The beach is only a few minutes walking distance. There is a dog beach right next to a forest. It was just perfect! Communication with Nadja and Jacob was also great! There was even a little welcome. We will be happy to come back!

We are a family with 2 adults and 2 children. The house is a suitable size, well equipped and lovely "down to earth" and created for relaxation. Lovely private plot with southwest facing terrace. Great movie library that gave us some real cozy evenings on the couch. All in all, we had some really lovely days at Thomas' house.

The house is fantastic to get off-the-grid and enjoy the hyggelig lifestyle of Denmark. Martin is a great host and was very supportive and welcoming during the entire stay. The house is spot-on and has everything one would need. Thank you again, we'd love to be back one day.

Peaceful family house, recommended for families especially.

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

Had an great vacation in the beautiful home of Helle. The house is very well equipped and lovingly decorated. The kitchen equipment also left nothing to be desired. The house was very clean. Helle was a very kind and helpful host who was always available with great tips and information when needed. Also, the pool was regularly cleaned by light and the garden maintained (if we were not in the house so that we were not disturbed by their presence). Our dog was also allowed to move freely and felt very comfortable 😉 Thanks very much, thanks to Helle, for letting us be your guests!

Everything was perfect – just be aware of unusually high costs for electricity and water. It was such a lovely stay, and the house is absolutely perfect as well as the communication with the host.

We had a delightful stay. Kim is a very responsive and helpful host, and the house was clean and equipped with everything you might need for your stay. We were impressed by the attention to detail. It’s a quiet neighbourhood with beautiful surroundings. Would recommend having a car, but we managed it all on public transport and the handy bikes at the house. The only confusing bit was the light switches that took some finding! If you’re looking for a comfy space an hour outside of Copenhagen, this is a great place.

Beautiful house, great location near small town, beach and public transport. The indoor pool is a bonus, especially if the weather is not good. Helsingor is only a few miles away where you can get the ferry to Sweden. Louisiana Art Museum is a short distance away too. The house is a family home, so very well equipped and Lasse and his family were very generous with what could be used. The whole place was perfect for our family get together of a week.

The home was an old beach house with lots of character and a stunning location with a view. There were very clear instructions and the hosts were very friendly and easy to get in touch with. The beds were comfortable and large. We traveled with two small children and the home was perfect for them. There was a front yard that they played soccer in, jumped in the trampoline, and used the swing. The kitchen was well stocked and almost had everything we could have asked for. My only complaint was there was not a proper seating area that wasn't the dining table. There was a couch on the porch area that overlooked the ocean, but it's not suitable for the group to sit and relax (only fits 2-3 and the house is for up to 6 people). Otherwise the home was great and we loved walking to restaurants and the beach every night.

Cat's house is very cozy, spacious and inviting. Together with the large shady garden, a feel-good place where we immediately felt at home. The six of us were able to relax here, lie in the garden, cook and barbecue. The neighborhood was very friendly. Cat was a very attentive host who was always available for questions and accepted our delay on the day of arrival without complaint. Hornbaek is a tranquil vacation resort, with not too many tourists, small shops, nice restaurants, a harbor and wonderful beach. At the same time, it is a perfect location for excursions in the area, of course to Copenhagen, but also to Helsingor, the Louisiana Museum, Frederiksborg Castle, etc. We felt completely comfortable and would come back any time.

Incredibly lovely house and perfect for families with kids. Short distance to Hornbæk for the beach and city center with a lot to do. Good communication with Marie Sisse all the way that made the stay very good and predictable. Would highly recommend renting this house ☺️ thank you for us!

We returned once more to the beautiful house of Thomas and Maren. Again, we had a great time at the beautiful location with direct access to the beach from a private terrace overlooking the Øresund. The whole family enjoyed the well-equipped, beautifully designed and clean house with lots of entertainment and toys for the kids. The host are very friendly and responsive. We can highly recommend it and would love to return in the future if possible.

The house of Lone and Tom is an old house with soul and character, the location to the beach is very good (2 minutes by foot through a quiet and very nice/upscale residential area). And you can also walk to the center of Hornbaek in 10-15 minutes. I don't want to repeat what has already been written in many reviews and shown in the pictures, so only two personal notes and recommendations: 1. Older houses often come with them that they are not always high functional and 'sterile' - who is very important to see on the websites of the relevant DK organizers may be better. But everything worked! 2. With dog it is highly recommended: beach and forest as I said very close (most dogs went free, although it was high season) and our dog also liked the large garden very well (fenced). Lone was always available and very quick to respond, also greeted us personally in the house - thank you so much for that!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cottage feels like home because of all the decorations. The garden is amazing and is fenced, so we could let our dogs run freely. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and all sorts of herbs, something i dont see very often in an airbnb. Within walking distance there is a forest and a beach where dogs can be off leash and there's a lot to do in the area. Thank you Niels for being such a good host.

Sophie's farmhouse is very stylish and idyllic. Despite the very rural location, the public transport connection by train to Copenhagen or the Louisiana Museum is very convenient and prompt. There are three bedrooms, a very large living area with a great kitchen with induction hob. The beds are all suitable for adults and super comfortable. The farmhouse ensemble is inhabited by young families and has a great common area with swing, chickens, fire pit and soccer field. In the private garden behind the house it is idyllic with two terraces. Overall the house is significantly better than stated
