Ski-in/Ski-out holiday rentals in Hemsedal

This is a place out of the ordinary! Great location and a refreshing alternative to the traditional "cabin cabins" in Norway. The view is amazing. There is plenty of space in the hallway and 4 people can get ready for the ground at the same time, it is gold. However, it may be good to note that it is about 150 meters to walk to the ski slope.

We felt very comfortable in the beautiful and cozy house! The kitchen was great! We will definitely be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful weekend at the "cabin" for the Olsen family. The house is peacefully located in nice surroundings. Large and cozy common areas and all the amenities you need. And the hosts are very nice and welcoming. We would gladly came back 😁

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

Here are some of our experiences of the place when we were here: Our kids were very happy when we arrived at the house. They really enjoyed themselves here throughout their stay, both inside and outside. There was a large trampoline on the front of the house, and a cozy wooden cabin in the back. It is less than 5 minutes and walk to Hallingdal Feriepark from the house. It takes just over 1 hour and drive to Langedrag from the house, and about 25 minutes to Tropicana Badeland on Gol. There are several different hiking opportunities in the area. There were good solutions in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. There is both dishwasher and washer and tumble dryer here. The house and location are great for families with children. It was good cleanliness here. The host was available if we had any questions. We have already recommended this accommodation to family and friends.

We loved our stay in this home! It was perfect for two of us, and the views and surrounding area are amazing.

A simply wonderful place to enjoy the Norwegian upland, with ski trails from the door, super floor heating, warm historic vibe, and a comfy couch. It has two tables that seat six, a kitchen with tools, utensils and servingware to cook for a crowd of 12 (or more) and serve them coffee and wine, and a dishwasher for cleanup. It’s very well-equipped—like visiting an aunt with one of everything—so there was a right-sized ski pole when we broke one, an extra pulk and harness, plastic sleds for a small army of children, extra ski wax and tools, and the mudroom has long benches for booting on/off, and tons of hooks for hanging outerwear. When wood for the fireplace ran low, Bengt responded quickly.and had it delivered. There are tons of books in the Nordic languages as well as English on many topics including the local area and beyond. The market in Ustaoset is a short walk/ski, and Geilo was easy to reach by bus, train, or taxi for stores, dining, or a downhill ski. Love. This. Place.

Great place to be with big family with pets, quiet and beautiful place that you just want to come back to. Located nice, private by the water, ski slopes and short distance to all amenities. Above expectations beautiful, decorated for Christmas. Amazingly cozy and real Christmas vibe. Nice and good communication with the landlord. Thanks a lot :-).

Very comfortable and beautiful space. It has a well set up amenities, lovely views and direct access to outside.

We had a great Easter holiday at Karistova. Fine possibilities for hiking in the nearby area for both adults and children when the snow was gone, just go right out the door and up the mountain. The cabin is very nicely located in the field, with plenty of space for outdoor activities. Inside, it was very smart with a fireplace in the middle and open kitchen that didn't feel cramped like cabin kitchen often does. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. We would love to come again, the cabin is very suitable both for summer and winter visits.

We were very pleased to spend our vacation at Åse's place. The area was already known to us so we already knew how beautiful it is in Tyinkrysset. Åse is a very nice and communicative hostess, we got along very well with her. The place is very cozily furnished and makes it easy to spend a few days there even in the rain. We especially appreciated the cleanliness and amenities. We are considering coming back. Thank you for everything.

Torstein's cabin was great, really fun with ping pong table. Spacious, welcoming and nicely decorated. All you can wish for. Responded quickly when I asked questions and sent ongoing and good info before and during the stay. Great top!

I had a wonderful stay at this spacious and well-equipped cabin in Turufjell. The surroundings were beautiful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was responsive and helpful, quickly answering any questions. Highly recommended!

The house in the mountains was just great! It is completely new, modernly furnished and very comfortable! We were a family of 8 with teenagers and grandparents and celebrated Christmas there! We enjoyed the evenings by the fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped so we could cook all meals there. Turutunet is a fantastic host, answered all questions quickly and even organized a decorated Christmas tree for us. Thank you very very very much for this! Another unexpected highlight was the hot pool under the stars. And... we had a white Christmas! Thank you for the snow!

Fantastic great and modern cabin located incredibly centrally located. The hosts always respond very quickly and you feel like they are really concerned with a good user experience. 5 stars was given on all ratings, and me and my traveling party have nothing to put off on their stay. We are delighted.

Incredibly great farmyard right by the hill in Solheisen. We were a group of 9 people who rented both the cabin and the annex. We couldn't ask for a better spot or better location. Very happy and an incredibly great place at a great value!:)

This place is an absolute pearl- beautifully decorated and with breathtaking views. We stayed with our 4 children in Espen's beautiful cabin and had a wonderful time going for hikes and playing board games. The atmosphere is peaceful, spotless clean and comfortable. 5 star place! We are excited to visit this wonderful place again soon!
