(N70) Centrally located in relation to nature-based, seasonal activities and for exploration of the Varanger Peninsula, the National Park and East Finnmark. Rowboat, campfire can be used freely by appointment. The host lives in the main apartment on the farm.

Elvesus

You live 5 min from the airport, and yet in nature. A few meters from the sea and a river that flows into the sea here. Around the houses you can discover a variety of animals. Reindeer often come by. Moose can make a quick visit. Otherwise, otters and weasels run around the houses. In the sea, seals and rarely dolphins swim. An excellent place to observe the Northern Lights - and if it is windless, it is reflected in the sea as well. Tromsø city center bus, about 15 mins. Sauna can be rented when you stay here - agreed later.

In winter, for the most adventurous, there is also the possibility of ice bathing! Afterwards, you can relax in the sauna (extra cost). Trollstuggu offers tranquility, a simple life and a perfect starting point for hiking and skiing, located in beautiful Vindøldalen, a ~600m walk on path up from parking. Located in the mountain side, the cabin offers panoramic view of the valley. Main room of 20m2 with kitchenette, 6m2 bedroom with 3 beds, veranda w and w/o roof and Biolan toilet in shed. 12 V electricity from solar cell. No running water in cabin but from nearby stream. Wood stove in cabin and gas burner and fire pan outside.

Luxury cabin by the river

This is a luxurious outdoor experience in raw Finnmark nature or sit inside in the living room watching the northerns lights through the large windows. If you come from abroad, the easiest way to get here is to fly to Alta and rent a car. Getting from Alta to Kokelv is about 2 hours. You can access by car to the front of the entrance area. The house contains 2 bedrooms with king size beds, 1 bedroom with 4 bunk beds and a TV room with a double sofa bed.

This is a modern, bright, and cozy cabin on one level, with 3 (4 bedrooms), 8 beds, and everything you need for a pleasant stay in the mountains. Two of the bedrooms have fold-down desks - perfect for workation. The modern fireplace will provide both comfort and warmth after a long day in the fresh mountain air. Electricity (ex. EV charging) and wood for the fireplace included in the rent. The cabin is new, from 2022.
