Holiday rentals with beach access in Hendaye

Olga and Jorge’s home was an absolute delight. Perfectly located in the heart of Donostia, it’s beautifully decorated with thoughtful attention to detail throughout. The apartment is exceptionally well-equipped and generously stocked with amenities—Olga and Jorge have truly thought of everything to make their guests feel at home. Their warmth and hospitality were unmatched, and they provided us with many helpful tips and local insights. The use of their parking space was an added bonus and made exploring the area even easier. San Sebastián itself is incredible, and this home made our stay all the more memorable. We didn’t want to leave and hope to return someday. With San Martin Square just outside the door—featuring a supermarket, cafés, and great shopping—and the beach only steps away, the location couldn’t be better. One of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had.

The apartment was homely with the most amazing views and Laurence was a friendly and responsive host. Hendaye as a location was great, long sandy beach on one side and a beautiful harbour on the other with a long promenade on both. Apartment up a hill, which was fine for us, meaning we could walk off the Gateaux Basque! Hope to be back.

very good welcome from Margarita who even came to pick us up from the train station. the apartment is very nice, bright, next to the beach. the Hendaye beach district is pleasant, shops nearby, surf schools, bakery, good restaurants. full of activities nearby and accessible by public transport or on foot. only downside the planes that land in Irun, Spain, which passes above the neighborhood but there are not many. it didn't bother us. I highly recommend.

Fantastic location and very spacious apartment. Had everything we needed for our stay in Donostia and the host was so easy to deal with and very friendly. We felt at home and loved the area it was located in. Easy walk to Gros, the old town, the beach and main bus station. Right in the shopping district with plenty of places to shop and eat. Easy to catch the local buses and also the regional buses to the towns of Getaria and Hondarribia. Would highly recommend.

Had a great time at this place! The apartment is as described, very clean, well-equipped and conveniently located. The real highlight is the view of the sea: absolutely incredible, especially at sunset. A real happiness on a daily basis. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. The host was very responsive and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We had a great few days at Olivier’s apartment. He and Alexis were very helpful and gave us lots of good information and answered my queries very promptly. The apartment is very well equipped and furnished to a high standard .The views of the beach and forest are amazing,it’s a very peaceful space to relax.

We had a great weekend together. The house is located in a very peaceful environment, full of charm. Very functional, and tastefully restored. Communication with Christine was excellent, all the information necessary for our arrival was given to us accurately. Very flexible host on schedules which allowed us to leave more quietly after our cycling race. We strongly recommend!

Small clean house, welcoming, well-equipped with a very nice terrace. Thanks to Valerie for her responsiveness and availability.

The house is spacious and very well-equipped, the pool is very nice! The many bathrooms and toilets are a real plus when you live at 8. The only slight "downside" is that the house overlooks a fairly busy road but on the other hand the windows insulate very well from noise and in the evening there are fewer cars anyway so it didn't bother us too much.

What a wonderful stay in this little cocoon, a big thank you to Katia and Olivier who were available and responsive when needed and very discreet throughout our stay. The pluses that make the difference: air conditioning, swimming pool, barbecue, quality of the bedding, outdoor terrace, darts and finally the 2 magnificent bikes that allow you to reach the beach of Ondres or enjoy the surrounding areas. The accommodation is frankly great and especially close to everything, it's a good starting point to visit the Basque and Landes coast.

Extremely well located accommodation 2 steps from the beach, a few bars by the sea nearby. Center easily accessible by car. The accommodation is very clean, functional and quiet (despite the proximity of the campsite). Small downside with unsecured staircase (accommodation on the first floor) and 2 windows in the bedroom without shutters that required a little adaptation with a walking baby. Very good communication with Paul. We'll be happy to go back.

We had a great weekend. The house was very clean, very well-equipped and tastefully decorated with beautiful sea views on the first floor. The house was also conveniently located with everything nearby without having to take the car. The courtyard is nice because it's not overlooked. Manuella's welcome was also at the top, very responsive and she also gave good recommendations, the Kavea restaurant is great because of its kitchen and its location with a beautiful view and a peaceful outdoor space where children can play safely as there are no cars. Anyway, we recommend it!

We had a great time at Yolande's home. Quiet and close to all Ciboure Socoa or Saint Jean de Luz 10 minutes by car. Quiet, with a carefully decorated interior, a living room with incredible volume and exteriors for rest and serenity. The house largely matches the photos. Yolande is very responsive and has good tips. Clean and very well-equipped house. We'll be back soon. Go there without a second thought, you won't be disappointed.

For the second time, we stayed at Stephane's and we are delighted. Ideally located apartment, functional, the amenities are of quality as well as the bedding. Nothing is missing. Great place and we had a really great stay overall! Location is prime with great access to all that San Sebastián has to offer. Host was super helpful and responsive throughout our stay.

Helen kept us well informed of where to park and arrival instructions. We arrived later than expected due to car issues and she arranged for a lovely helpful friend to meet us. The apartment was immaculately clean and well equipped, with everything that you could need plus lots of extra touches. There was milk, Beer, water and soft drink in the fridge which was appreciated and plenty of tea/ coffee and condiments if needed. The apartment was spacious and everywhere smelt clean and inviting. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at Helens place
