Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Herm

We will paraphrase the other dithyrambic reviews... Incredible place, charming welcome, absolute quiet, perfectly equipped accommodation. We were fans of the pigs, and very happy that the land is fenced and dog friendly (the forest around is perfect for walks, and there is a beach authorized for dogs nearby). Loved our stay! (Note to tall people: the bed is quite short)

We had a wonderful week at this lovely place, full of 70s charm. Everything has its own style — slightly dated, but very well maintained and in great condition. We stayed with four children under the age of two, and they truly had the time of their lives. The garden is a highlight, with both sunny and shady spots under beautiful old trees — perfect for little explorers. The pool was still a bit cool at this time of year, but ideal for a refreshing dip. We also brought a small baby pool, which worked perfectly for the toddlers. There’s a barbecue, and the location is fantastic: great for walks, stroller-friendly, and just a 15-minute walk to the beach with 2 nice beach restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

The house is exactly as described and is finished to a very high standard. There are top quality appliances, furniture & amenities throughout. It was also very clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. The house is very well located. Hossegor is full of great restaurants & shops. The lake is a 3 minute drive (also walkable) and the ocean is about 8mins. Etienne was a great host. He was very responsive & helpful before and during our stay and made sure everything was perfect for us. We would happily come back again.

We had a very nice week in the villa. Everything is well taken care of and very complete (lots of kitchen appliances, games, etc.) Communication with Phil was very smooth. And you will be in the village and on the beach in no time. Recommended!

We had a great welcome by Jérôme and his wife, my wife being on crutches, Jérôme took us to the cabin by quad. During this stay, we were able to enjoy a peaceful environment in the forest, a Nordic bath, the aperitif kitchen area with the plancha. Breakfast was dropped off for us in the morning. A big thank you for this unusual stay. We recommend 👌

We felt at home immediately. The house was bright and airy, well-equipped and maintained, with a fabulous outdoor space. Everything was spotlessly clean and the photos were a perfect representation of the space. The location was excellent, and Alex and Claire were friendly, knowledgeable and extremely responsive.

We've been with our dog for a few days at Nathalie's place. The house is fully equipped, there's everything you might need. Also, the hostess left us some products that have been very useful to us: milk, coffee, gel, shampoo, among others. We were always able to communicate with her, and she was available and close.

We spent a great weekend. The house has everything you need. The location is awesome - only a few meters to the beach and the “city center”

We have rarely received such a welcome: very smiling and warm hosts to the point of wanting to know them more. We had a great time in this house: spacious, family, tastefully decorated and with everything we needed. It felt like home. Chantal recommended many activities nearby and even though we didn't need it, we knew we could use them if needed. Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness. Comment from the last little one on the day of our arrival: “He's too kind the gentleman and funny.” If we come back to the area, we know where to go!

Such a good host who provided many recommendations for the city. Duncan had such a nice spot to stay in and the balcony was our favorite spot in the flat. Would recommend to anyone staying in Biarritz who wants to stay in a flat not right on the beach and in town more.

I would like to take my whole family and friends. The house, its owners, and everything around it were conspiring to make her enjoy her days to perfection. Everything is close. Supermarkets, Boulangerie, restaurants. Gudrun was always attentive. The people in the surrounding villages are super friendly. The surroundings are magical. I would always return.
