Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hernando County

Very fun place. Although we were out doing other local activities during the day it was so nice to come back to his place and enjoy the rest of the evening relaxing and swimming without the added stress of time restrictions. The kids loved the late night swims. The house was nice and cool plus noise free . The neighborhood was super quiet and peaceful. Everything you could need was in the house and readily available. Stefan responded rite away to any questions i had. Definitely going to save this one for our next visit to Spring Hill.

This place is better than the pictures! The place was super clean. It looked like the inside had been newly renovated and it was beautiful. It was bigger than we thought. Having the kayaks was a big plus! We met a few neighbors while kayaking and they were super nice which added to our overall experience. The bed upstairs (the only one we used) was super comfy as were the pillows. We were in the area for my niece’s high school graduation and plan to stay here again for any future visits! Highly recommend this place. Also, Jennifer was an amazing host and was always quick to respond. We did not need much from her as everything was self explanatory thanks to the thoughtful notes! Great stay. The place was exactly as described. We spent most of our time in the outdoor space relaxing in the pool and letting the dogs romp in the nice, private fenced yard.

We had an amazing stay at "Wasted Time!" The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed and more. Plenty of kitchen accessories, dishes, spices, etc. Loads of linens and towels, and an air mattress. The kayaks were so convenient and we felt like having them there really saved us money in the long run. We explored the springs, jumped off rope swings and tall trees, played at the beach, and pulled up to eat at the local restaurant. The neighbors were friendly. And we had a momma and baby manatee that payed us a long visit on our last night. It was incredible! We hope to stay again!!

This place is a little gem. Great high end Decor. Spectacular shower and bathroom sink!! Kayaking off the pier was excellent. be careful on weekends because river was like a highway, absolutely packed. During the week was peaceful with substantially less people. rented a go boat which was delivered to the pier and was really fun for a day when you don't feel like paddling. Check out Hernando Beach for fun entertainment and food options. Italian restaurant up the street was unbelievable! Great service and wonderful food. Upper Deck was a great let down this trip, frozen food cooked badly.. This a great little place for two people!

I absolutely loved our stay here! If you’re looking for a beautiful getaway right on the river this is your spot! We saw manatees! Floated on the river with the five star kayaks that were given to us to use! Neighbors are so friendly also! Such a sweet escape. We kayaked up the river and there were beautiful spots to stop and enjoy swimming/rope swinging/ etc. thanks again!

One of the best AirBnB stays ever. Host was responsive, helpful, flexible and home was better than described. We will definitely be back!

It was all good i like it in starting bed was broken she replaced it right away without any questions she bought new bed.

Tom and Tammy are really super hosts. Always responded quick to my questions. The area is fantastic. Walk to restaurants and the best one is Brian’s Place right next door. You can sit on the deck and enjoy the music on weekends (don’t worry, it’s over by 9), and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Plenty of parking. Lots of shopping close by. Place has everything you need and is well equipped. Plenty of wildlife. Two majestic Eagles have a nest across the canal.

Estervinas place is exactly like the pictures, extremely clean and easy to find. Recommend 100%… very quite place … Love it! Thank you!! Truly a rare find.

Great little spot! This is the second time I come and stay here because the price and location is hard to beat.. we saw baby dolphin jumping right behind the house at sunset time, manatee, and along the river there were otters and deer and just so much beauty! Staying here is one of the easiest ways to see the Weekiwachee River. It has everything you need: AC beds with clean linens, clean kitchen and bathroom. Be sure to be prepared to share the outside area though! There is another rental above and the yard is a shared space (something I forgot all about.) Everyone we encountered from above was very nice. Also noticed the kayaks were upgraded since my last visit! Wonderful weekend all in all. Will be back.

Beautiful place the shower was amazing and the local springs are amazing! The snow park is 30 minutes away and so nice!

We had an amazing stay at the Lucky Duck on Weeki Wachee! The property is beautiful, and Donna thought of everything to make it a perfect spring getaway. She provided kayaks, paddleboards, and even a canoe, making it so easy to enjoy the water right from the house. The screened-in porch was a lovely spot to relax, watch boaters pass by, and take in the peaceful surroundings. The property is very quiet, extremely clean (and I am very picky about cleanliness!). The only thing missing was a dishwasher, but that was a small trade-off for such a perfect stay. Highly recommend it!
