There is access to the garden, terraces and pavilion, views of Lysbro forest and from our garden there is direct access to Lyså. There is a living room, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom with double bed and bathroom. Our home is close to the lake and forest and there are good opportunities for hiking and cycling. You can also use the mountain bike trails in the forests, as well as kayak and paddleboard from the boat bridge in our garden.

You can also go to Snaptun, from where ferries sail to the peaceful islands of Hjarnø and Endelave – perfect for a day out in nature.

The apartment has a private entrance, lockbox for easy check-in, an electric car charger and free access to washing machine. Inside there is entrance hall, small bathroom with shower, 2 bedrooms, fully equipped open plan kitchen and living room with comfortable 140 cm sofa bed. If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
