Stained glass, brick floor and exposed beams throughout the cottage. Our charming and cosy cottage is around half an hour from Cambridge and Saffron Walden. With ample scenic countryside walks and bridle ways on our doorstop, you're truly spoilt for choice. *We now use an Electrostatic Sprayer to disinfect all surface and soft furnishings. *

Historic Old Stables in central Bishops Stortford

The Old Stables are in a courtyard, set back from Windhill, right in the heart of Bishops Stortford, close to restaurants, pubs, cafés and shops. Conversion of a historic coach-house and stables into a self-contained cottage which sleeps 4 or even 5/6 by arrangement. There is a high-ceilinged entrance hall with wood burner. The spacious kitchen is well-equipped. There are two double beds in the same room (one on a mezzanine floor above the other) and a double sofa bed in the dining area.

Whilst It is in a rural location, the cabin provides close access to London by both train (29-minutes to London St Pancras) and car (A1(M)) along with a short drive to the local market towns of Hitchin, Letchworth Garden City and the large town of Stevenage. Possibly the warmest award winning outdoor pool in the U.K. Minimum winter temperature of 89 Degtees F! The retreat cabin is a place for couples to genuinely switch off from the outside world. Relax in private luxury with a fantastic teak hot tub and award winning luxury swimming pool just feet from your door. Underfloor heating is also fitted as is air conditioning and electric privacy blinds. This entire area and listing is completely private and not shared with other guests.

The Little Barn, cosy with a touch of luxury

The Little Barn is a newly converted , self contained barn. You have your privacy but I am next door to help if necessary. The barn is luxurious, yet homely and quiet and near to two lovely pubs with fab food and a little post office/shop. There are many walks from the house and the A1M/A505 is minutes away for those travelling north, south or to Cambridge.
