What a beautiful place to stay - right next to a nature reserve, with the oyster catchers and curlews calling at night and wildlife wandering into the garden. But also very close to pubs, coffee shop and the sea. Great if you like birds, wildlife and peace and quiet.

We had a lovely few days relaxing at the landing craft. Such a quirky place, beautiful quiet spot, and had everything we could think we might need. Comfy beds too. We were very sad to have to leave a day early due to an issue at home, but we shall definitely book again. Carole is super friendly taking the time to show us round and explain where everything was. Family of three visiting family in Woodham Walter and this was the perfect spot. Close to restaurants and shopping. Easy to find, includes parking spot. Great find! We loved the character and charm of Pickle Cottage and Maldon. Thank you!

What a great place, it has everything you need & more. Immaculately clean & feels like home from home. It’s one of the best place we have stayed & would highly recommend. The location is also amazing. Only a short walk and you can wander down the canal side to Maldon basin and enjoy the view, along with a number of pub’s & restaurants. 5/5
