A super nice and relaxte location. Very close to all the main highlights of Isle of Skye (fairy glen, old man of storr and quiraing). The host is super friendly and helpful. Would recommend this to anyone.

This is the most pleasant and scenic place I've ever stayed in the UK! I originally wanted to book a hotel in Portree, but when I saw the photos of this place, I felt it would be great, and I was very satisfied! Aileen is a very enthusiastic host, and we had a super fun chat with her. She also showed us her meaningful collection, and her occasional humor made us laugh. This is the warmth and style of the Highlands, which I really like. If I come to the Highlands again, I will definitely stay here again to enjoy the pleasant scenery!

A Truly Unforgettable Stay – Like Visiting Family in Scotland. Our stay at John’s B&B in Kinlochleven was nothing short of exceptional. After a long and rainy walk, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness that it truly felt like coming home. John went above and beyond to help us get dry and comfortable again – his hospitality was genuine, thoughtful, and deeply appreciated. The room was incredibly cozy, the beds were wonderfully comfortable, and everything – from the bathroom to the kitchen – was spotless. You can tell this home is cared for with great pride & attention to detail. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and set us up perfectly for the next day’s walk. It wasn’t just the food, but the way John seemed to know exactly what we needed before we even asked. His intuitive sense of when to offer a friendly chat or when to give space was remarkable. It felt more like visiting a beloved Uncle John in Scotland than staying at a B&B. It was a truly heartwarming experience. Thanks.

Very comfortable stay in a nice home with a lovely host.

We had a wonderful evening at Maggie's place. We had spent a wet day hiking in Glencoe, so it was so nice to arrive to a clean place to stay. Our room was spacious and we were very comfortable. Our bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. The views from our room were spectacular! Our in room breakfast was an added bonus! Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed at Jayne and Ross’s BnB for our honeymoon, and couldn’t have asked for a more delightful space! The room was large (kind bed, two arm chairs by the window, a desk, armoir) and had a lovely view over the loch. And the bathroom was what dreams are made of - great shower (water pressure!), and claw footed tub, makeup space, and tons of room. And the general home has wonderful decor and charm (think pull strings for lights in the bathroom). Breakfasts were easy, and Ross even gave us a tour of his bagpipe shop next door! And great access to both Isle of Skye and daytrips north. One of the top Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at.

If we could give Myra and Kenny more than 5 stars we would! We had the absolute loveliest stay at their gorgeous property. Everything was perfect and Myra and Kenny were so extremely kind, we felt right at home straight away. Kenny makes a great Scottish breakfast and both go above and beyond for their guests. We would recommend this stay to absolutely everybody. Thank you again!!

5 stars – Excellent accommodation & hostess Our stay with Susie was simply fantastic. The accommodation was sparkling clean, very cozy and designed with great attention to detail. Susie is a very friendly and helpful hostess, with whom you immediately feel welcome. The breakfast was gigantic - rich, fresh and prepared with great care.

Eleanor and her husband were absolutely lovely, they shared their home and their kindness with us, giving us useful suggestions for our trip, we visited some very beatiful places thanks to them. The house is perfect, squeaky clean, elegant with an amazing view on the peaceful fields around it. Bonus point: Otis is lovely too

The view from suite is great. It is very quiet atmosphere, and feels nature. The room is very comfortable to stay. We enjoyed plenty of tasty breakfast , they are enough for picnic lunch. Several kinds of coffee and Various tea. Good hospitality. The best Airbnb in the area.

Isabel was an amazing host. She was there to welcome us to her home, showed us around, and made us feel extremely welcome. The School house itself is in a peaceful location in the countryside, central to everywhere on the Isle of Skye. The breakfast included with the stay was also an appreciated amenity. I would definitely stay at this Airbnb again.

The Stoney Cottage was our favorite stay during our trip to Scotland. Not only is Skye a beautiful place to visit, but the Stoney Cottage and it’s wonderful hosts go above and beyond to make your stay even more memorable. William greeted us on arrival to help us bring bags in and then made us feel right at home while offering us coffee and tea and giving us a breif history of Skye. We were more sad to have to leave the Stoney Cottage than we were to leave Skye by the end of the trip. If we ever get the chance, we would definitely return to the Stoney Cottage.

Very comfortable. Great location next to the station. Frank & Maria went out of their way to make sure I had everything needed and gave lots of recommendations for things to do, walks to try and places to eat. Even though it is a room only basis, they provide a fridge and microwave, crockery tea&coffee, biscuits, milk, juice, fruit, yoghurts etc so you can easily sort a continental breakfast. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Pitlochry itself is a lovely little market town with lots to see, and great links into Scotland. 5*

Morag's place was great! We immediately felt at ease. The breakfast provided was amazing, we didn't miss anything. The view from the room is beautiful and the area is quiet. We recommend a car if you rent this property.

Incredible B&B run by very hospitable folks. Clean, comfortable, peaceful, private and with a delicious full breakfast to power your Isle of Skye hikes. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay with Chris! The location was ideal…only a ~7min walk to the bridge and access to restaurants and other city offerings. The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked with yummy snacks (& even a little whiskey!). Chris definitely knows how to make a delicious made-to-order breakfast! I appreciated his communication l, not just during our stay but even before our arrival, making some great suggestions of places to see along our drive to Inverness. Chris is a wonderful host…we enjoyed chatting with him each day!

I had a wonderful stay at Sarah and Yorick's home that has been built with much thought and love. They have done a great job at carving out a safe space, which is further amplified by the vast nature and stillness at the doorstep. Meals using vegetables from the garden with other guests facilitated eclectic discussions and I learned a lot. A great wee get-away.

Excellent B&B! We stayed in the Balmoral room, which was very spacious, had a charming patio overlooking gorgeous pastures and mountains. The bathroom was also large and lovely! Very comfortable bedding and access to good wifi, TV, and tea cart when winding down at night. The breakfast was phenomenal! Absolutely loved the eggs benedict, the home cooking and baking was superb. Wish we stayed longer than 2 nights! Hosts were friendly and had good recommendations for local diners and activities.

Gunta's B&B was perfect for our single night stay. It was a simple drive from Inverness and made for an enjoyable rest before continuing our journey. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was fabulous. We felt completely at home.

Valarie has a very nice place in the upper NW of Scotland that is well worth staying. It is convenient to get to and she makes a wonderful breakfast. The place is super clean and Valarie is an excellent host. I strongly recommend The View to stay. And yes, the view is very nice.
