Family-friendly holiday rentals in Higuillar

Gorgeous spot, very easy beach access, beautiful view, night life next door walking distance, walking distance to many stores and restaurants! Overall a great experience and if I have the blessing to come back to PR, i will stay here. 100% recommending to my peers.

Our family of 4 had a great time at the apartment and enjoyed the pool and beach. Having a kitchen was so convenient. We visited the kioskos de Luquillo and El yunque during our stay. Included parking was also a plus.

Geoff and Vanessa were wonderful hosts during our stay. They checked in a couple of times during the stay to make sure everything was going well. The made us aware of some local sea turtle hatchling activities on the beach which were so much fun for us and the kids. The condo was clean and spacious and perfecty located to utilize the pools and the beach. We couldn't ask for more gracious hosts and better home base for exploring the island. We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! The space was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully decorated, it truly felt cozy and welcoming. You can tell the place is cared for with attention to quality and detail. Our host was also very responsive and helpful, quick to reply to questions. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and charming place!

The Happy Yellow Beach house was everything we needed! It was a great location for us to explore Puerto Rico! The home provided all the amenities and space we needed for 6 adults. The pool, hot tub and outdoor spaces were great! We would definitely come back!

Provided address, key code and WiFi prior to our arrival making it easy to request Uber from the airport and readily access our room upon arrival. 24/7 security and attendant at front desk. Historic fort site right across from our balcony. Nice beds. Nice shower. Great A/C. Conveniently located right upstairs of the pool. Walkable to 2 nearby beaches. Condado beach is a little further down Ashford Avenue yet still walkable. Snorkeling right in front of building with lots of tropical fish, starfish and turtles. Easy Uber access pick-up/drop-off steps away by the Caribe Hilton. Definitely a nice unit and wonderful stay. Thank you Wandy and Hernan for making us feel welcomed and checking in to be sure we were enjoying our stay.

What an awesome, eclectic apartment! Right in the middle of all the old San Juan has to offer. Cyrus went over and above in describing the place with videos, written instructions throughout the home and also a video on how to check in (you need to walk thru a small shop). Even with an unexpected 11:30pm arrival…we easily found the place, lockbox and our way into the apartment. While in the middle of bars and restaurants and lively nightlife, once in the room- we had a quiet and peaceful sleep. If you want to be in the middle of all that old San Juan has to offer…this is the place!!!

Mrs Renee was very attentive even before I made it to the villa. I had to fly out of Newark and she was forwarding information she would see about news with delays or cancellations. She was very responsive and provided very good instructions to get to and out of the grounds where the villa was. From the gate to the villa is quite a distance but she advised of this in advance. A car is a must, not so much of an option, if you’re staying at this villa. The place was cozy with a beautiful view. The place was clean and she had a very kind gesture for my daughter since it was her sixteenth bday. Overall, the place was perfect for our short stay.

Stunning views!! And just the perfect place! This was our first time to Manatí, but it won’t be our last. Literally steps to the beach, and everything you need in the apartment. Del Marchiquita a 2 minute walk, and some neat places to explore up and around the rocks. Found an awesome cave!! This location is stellar! Comfortable beds, great bathrooms, and a well thought out kitchen. Everything was super clean! And Carlos and Lilly were AWESOME to work with! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Yayra has taken care of all the details to make you feel comfortable. Freshly cleaned linens, fully equipped kitchen, clean, clean, clean. Even a welcome present 🎁! The location can’t be better, walk everywhere, and so much close by. We always felt safe even walking around late at night. The apartment and the building are very beautiful and unique. In summary, great place, beautiful, accessible, and with everything you will need.

We had a wonderful week. A perfect location steps from a pristine beach. Maribel was a wonderful host! We look forward to returning again in the future.

Excellent Airbnb, centrally located near shops and restaurants and a quick drive to Old San Juan. The shared garden is lovely. Highly recommended!

Beautiful clean condo with a great view from the balcony and bedroom window. Bed was huge and comfy, as was the couch. Lots of useful beach amenities like sunscreen, aloe, chairs, lots of beach towels and cooler. Market across the street was just okay, would recommend walking a few minutes further to the Pueblo supermarket instead, but many other walkable shops and restaurants. Beach access was very nice and never too crowded to get a good spot to set up. Pool was refreshing as well. The complex itself was very safe secure and private.

Nilda was an exceptional host. It was just my husband and I and the apartment was perfect for two guests. She was very responsive and was kind enough to let us know some details regarding construction near by and conditions of the building. Very clear instructions and directions for check in and check out. Everything you would need but might forget when you’re on vacation is provided with this Airbnb. We arrived 5 hours prior to our check in time and she let us check in early which was very helpful. Also provided us with the option of checking out late to help accommodate with our departure, although we still left at check out time it was very thoughtful of her. I’d book her Airbnb again.

Miguel was always very responsive and helpful. He had an amazing home with loving neighbors and the outside patio where the pool, grill table and lounge chairs was very clean. Very spacious to have great time with your family and friends. 5stars all around. Really great guy. It’s no wonder why he is a rare find.

The apartment had a Beautiful view and was very clean and private. The staff were very nice and welcoming.

We were thankful to have picked this place and been able to stay here! Beautiful home and surroundings. We were looking to spend some time in El Yunque and this location worked out well for us. It was not a big deal or too hot but the whole house does not have AC, just the bedrooms. The house was so nicely decorated, clean, and very well thought out!

We were extremely pleased and comfortable at Esther’s and Rosemary’s place! It was better than the listed photos on their listing, the place was clean and private super easy to check in and out. The pool was amazing! My daughters enjoyed it so much!! Everything was perfect for our stay! There was so many small details that made it feel like home. We absolutely loved it and recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful place to stay at. They were very easy to communicate with and took the time to check in on us and make sure we were pleased with our stay and that to me was a PLUS! Thank you Esther and Rosemary!

Great place just outside of the “tourist” areas. Felt very local but everything was in walking distance and if you want to travel further into the island, having a parking spot for the car is so important.

I absolutely loved Jorge’s residence . 24th floor with a beautiful view. The Airbnb was super clean and had supplies like beach chairs , towels , ironing board , etc. He was constantly communicating with me and had suggested many things to do while in San Juan. I will definitely be back soon . If you book here you won’t miss out , many restaurants, close to the beach and other activities. Thank you Jorge !

We had a great stay - location very walkable to restaurants. The beach is right there and is very spacious and beautiful - the water was awesome. They provide everything you will need for the beach, towels, cooler and chairs very convenient. They also provided plenty of paper products and toiletries so you really don’t need to worry about that. The location is good quick drive to San Juan and about an hour from Fajardo where we did excursions like snorkeling etc. Carmen was very proactive and communicated really well and quick to help with any questions or issues. Would recommend for a nice beach trip.

Our stay here was amazing! Perfect location in San Juan. The view was beautiful.
