Holiday rentals with breakfast in Hilo

Steve's B&B is a great central location to Pahoa. Our breakfast's were delicious, and having my morning coffee made for me every morning was just awesome. We got great nights sleeps, got to eat on Steve's lanai and see the beautiful landscape as we ate before heading out for our days. Steve gave us great advice on great places to go also. Thanks again Steve for everything.

I stayed at Julia’s beautiful apartment for three nights. I can honestly say that I have never stayed at a better airbnb. She was the most friendly, helpful and nice host you can imagine. And the location is just incredible, in the middle of her self managed beautiful garden/rainforest. The room is very clean, cozy and everything was just as you’d need it. She and her friend even took me on a morning hike in volcanoes NP and showed me the nature, lava formations and told stories from their time living in the area. I’ve enjoyed the stay at this beautiful Airbnb in the middle of the rainforest and if I ever come back I will definitely stay there again! All the best to Julia and her family!

The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. The place was very clean and well taken care of. I especially appreciated the variety of breakfast options that were prepared. It made the morning so easy and enjoyable. Thank you so much!

We had an amazing stay at Bob's home. The breakfasts were delicious. The garden was beautiful and the room was comfortable. We had great conversations, and Bob treated us like good friends. It was a very peaceful stay. We couldn't ask for a nicer experience.

Wow!!! Better stay than we could have imagined!!! This was the CLEANEST bnb ever. House was literally BRAND NEW. Brand new sheets, towels, furniture & entire home!! Spotless shared bathroom W/ ample clean towels & face cloths. We booked this last second at 6pm on auto book. We immediately called James on the number provided after booking & he picked up & allowed us to come check right in within 15 mins of booking…. !!!! This is unheard of even on auto-book places!!! It was easy to find & has a door code for lockbox! Simple & easy entry. James kindly introduced himself & made us feel so welcome & comfortable.. he literally said “ if you need anything just open the drawers and look!” 🥹 It was so nice to feel comfortable and relaxed in someone else home!! He even showed us the eggs, bread, oats, PB, fruit and water for breakfast which was so kind!! Comfy bed w/ ample pillows & ceiling fan👍 1 other couple there while we were and it was fine sharing such a lovely space! RECOMMEND?

Fantastic location and surrounding, Enjoyed the nature walk in the morning. best part was, Location was close to volcano national park and we were able to make it just in time to the park when Kīlauea eruption(episode 23) started and it was spectacular!

Out of the beaten paths yet conveniently close to Kea'au, Pahoa and Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, this beautiful house is located in a quiet and lush environment. Riaan and Lisa are very kind and helpful hosts and make you feel at home.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home very much. Plenty of room for our family of 5, and the kitchen was fairly well appointed for cooking in. There were also many extras that we appreciated as well, such as flashlights (the property is remote, so very dark outside at night), laundry detergent, books and games. etc. One thing to note is that there was a slight musty smell; I suspect due to the wall-to-wall carpeting in the bedrooms and the tropical climate. This did not bother half of us, but the other half of us who are more sensitive to smells were a little bothered. I think a change of flooring would be a good idea (not an easy fix, I know).

They were very helpful and kind from the moment I booked and the place was sweet! Highly recommend.

Very close to the HVNP. Room was as described, neat and clean. Could hear a lot of cricket sounds at night (just like all other places in Hawaii), so be prepared for that! Otherwise all great and will recommend staying here!

Great old Hawaiian B&B. We had a fairly plain room, which we expected for the price, but it was clean, and the main rooms with the delicious breakfast and the beautiful surrounding garden made up for it. Perfect location minutes from Volcano National Park.

Lovely staycation :-)

We had a great experience staying in Cody's place as our base whilst we were in Hilo. It's a lovely space to spend time, and we spent several lazy mornings on the veranda with the provided breakfast which you can access at any time. Although the location wasn't convenient for walking, we were able to find Ubers / Lyfts into Hilo without much of an issue on nights we wanted to avoid driving due to alcohol.

Sarah’s place was such an incredible spot, surrounded by natural beauty and a warm, spacious, clean and wonderful room. Sara was super friendly and helpful - we felt right at home. Would 100% go back again!

Very relaxed and easy place to stay. It’s right near the best surf beach in Hilo so if you are into surfing it would be the perfect place to stay. Not far from the main town. Steph was very nice and easy to communicate.

Quaint and super peaceful place! Exactly as listed, the surroundings were absolutely lovely, birds chirping, and frogs at night. Screened room was so nice to sit in and enjoy nature, as well as outdoor lanai. The breakfast was lovely- things put in the fridge to eat as you like, facilities to prepare the food in the outdoor shared kitchen. Easy check in and parking was fine. Would definitely stay here again!

A real bed and breakfast! Barbara’s place was so warm and welcoming. Almost had backpacking hostile vibes. The cabins are tidy and cozy. We were served a breakfast of waffles and jam. Even better they had the option of gluten free waffles as an option too! We would come back to Barbara’s place anytime we are on the Hilo side of the island.

Beautiful property. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was amazing with bidet and rain shower.Delicious breakfast delivered at 7:30 on the lanai. We spent our last day lounging by the pool with a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean. The property is close to Akaka falls and about an hour from HVNP and Muana Kea observatory.

Cozy cottage by the sea. Erich and Suzy were delightful hosts and there is a great breakfast every morning on the porch overlooking the ocean.
