Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Himachal Pradesh

It’s been 6 years since the four of us spent time together at one place & we couldn’t ask for anything better. After 7 hours of road ride with many eventful incidences, we were warmly welcomed by Rajendraji & Arvindji with the best regional food we could ask for. (Such a homely feel it was!) They had gone out of their way to make our the dishes we asked :) (Thank you bhaiyas!) The stay itself was cozy & relaxing, would definitely want to stay here for longer period. (P.S. – Thanks to Sameerji for being an excellent long distance host, providing us with useful information & help – always!!)

I had a very pleasant stay at Woodhouse, I went there with my husband and 6 other family members. Very spacious and clean rooms and bathroom. Very quite and peaceful surroundings. Dev was very helpful and always available. Dev's kitchen delicacies are a must try. 😋 Jibhi water fall and Mini Thaliland are on 40-45 minutes walk from Woodhouse. I really enjoyed the 10-15 minutes hike from parking to Woodhouse. View from the balcony is super amazing. One can sit there and spent whole day gazing those beautiful mountains while eating Dev's kitchen made tasty food. I would recommend to visit and stay at woodhouse once if planning to go to Jibhi. It was such a beautiful adventure to hike to Woodhouse and hike was average. If one is looking for good food and peaceful and private stay, Woodhouse is best to look for. Thank you so much Dev to make our stay so wonderful and memorable.

The bnb is at a great location and surroundings are peaceful and serene. Chiranjiv was great host, always responsive and available. Place had all the amenities and looked like as described in the pictures. Overall it was a great stay.

It was one of the best Airbnb experiences for all three of us. Simply excellent. Amar was extremely helpful starting from the very first day when we arrived and he kindly helped us with all our luggage and the same for our check-out day. Highly recommend ! as this is the best Airbnb in Dharamshala for sure.

We had an absolutely wonderful 6-day stay at Ambika’s Airbnb, and it was hard to leave this gem! The property is a spacious and beautiful retreat, nestled amidst stunning apple orchards that create a serene, peaceful, and private atmosphere. The location is perfect—tranquil yet conveniently just 500 meters from local amenities, offering the best of both worlds. The house itself is gorgeous, with plenty of room to relax and unwind. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, making our stay comfortable and memorable. The kitchen was well equipped, washing machine was helpful & water heaters helped a lot. Ambika was an exceptional host, incredibly helpful and responsive. She provided contacts for local services, which made exploring the area a breeze. The peaceful surroundings and the charm of the orchards made our stay truly special. We left feeling rejuvenated but sad to say goodbye. Highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone seeking a serene escape with all the comforts of home!

Yashpal's daughter Kiran had all the required details to help a visitor. She is non interfering, helpful and ready with the suggested itinerary. Guests can easily cook meals as per choice without any interference or inconvenience. All utensils were already available.

Beautiful property. Perfect for a family of 7-8. Bedrooms are well maintained. Kitchen has all the essential utensils and appliances. The bar and loft are an add-on. Beautiful view from the balcony. The caretakers have been very kind and helpful. The food preparation was also good. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

It was a lovely 3 day stay @ Kunal’s place. It’s a new listing. While we encountered some issue’s drag adding cleanliness, but host was always phone call / message away to resolve. Understandable that at hilly areas life is not as in cities but Kunal was ever responsive and through our stay tried his best to help / support us wherever he could. We will be back soon and it was a pleasant stay. Then listing is as described on Airbnb and amenities mentioned are present.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) We had a wonderful stay at Bishamji’s homestay! The place is peaceful and offers a breathtaking view of the entire Kinner Kailash range right from the property. Bishamji’s son and his wife were very warm, responsive, and took great care of us throughout our stay. Dinner was absolutely delicious – homemade and full of flavor. A special highlight for us was how much our daughter enjoyed playing with their friendly pets! Also, the popular “Suicide Point” is just about 2 km away, making it a convenient spot to explore. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and scenic getaway in the mountains.

This is one place where we could really enjoy God’s created mountains. This is for now away from human destruction. You can see mountains without houses and garbage which is a rare sight these days. We have been to Rohtang and the mountains there are filled with garbage and human excretion. We have been to Simla, Manali, Dalhousie, McLeodganj, Kasauli, Mussoorie etc. However, all those mountains are weeping under the pressure of matchbox like construction. I doubt if the virginity of this place would remain so for long but it is worth enjoying till it is there. A humble request to visitors would be to not pollute the place and be decent enough to pick the garbage thrown by human beings.

This is hands down one of the most serene and breathtaking properties I’ve ever stayed at. Nestled in a quiet valley, the river flows just steps away from the glamping property, an absolutely stunning view to wake up to. The natural beauty and tranquility of the surroundings make it a perfect escape for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. That said, if you're traveling solo, just keep in mind that the property is quite secluded. There are only a few restaurants nearby, and the site itself has an open boundary, so it's not fully enclosed. However, there is a caretaker who stays in an adjacent hut, which adds a reassuring layer of safety. For those seeking solitude with a touch of adventure, this place is truly special.

⭐ Kaya Cottage, Dagshai Peaceful, scenic location surrounded by pine forests – ideal for a quiet retreat. Cozy, well-maintained cottage with tasteful interiors and all essentials. Nayan caretaker provides Delicious home-cooked meals. Friendly, responsive hosts who made the stay smooth and pleasant. I especially would like to thank Gunjan and her family for making us feel at home right from the time we checked in. only caution is this is absolute chill place. there is nothing nearby like a restaurant etc. so if you like peaceful , scenic places where you are with nature then this is the place. --- Let me know if you'd like to add a personal touch or specific highlights!

I had a truly wonderful stay at Whistling Pines, Kasauli! The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature—perfect for a relaxing getaway. A Home Away from Home! If you’re looking for a peaceful, cozy, and heartwarming stay in the mountains, look no further than Seema Aunty and Subhash Ji’s beautiful Airbnb. The wooden cabin itself is a dream—warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed with comfortable heated mattresses. Every meal was home-cooked, ultra-delicious, and bursting with flavor. It was pure comfort food, made with love. On our last day, Seema Aunty herself made us the most amazing aloo parathas, which were hands down the best we’ve ever had. Seema Aunty is one of the warmest, kindest hosts you’ll ever meet. She made sure we were comfortable at all times and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. One thing to keep in mind—reaching the property requires climbing around 3-4 floors worth of stairs, so if you’re traveling with elderly family members, do consider this. Thank you, Seema Aunty and Subhash ji for a wonderful stay!!

Beautiful place, well maintained, and exactly as shown in the pictures. On a clear day, the sunset views are so pretty from this property. Raghav is a great host, he gave us really good local recommendations and has been extremely responsive throughout our stay.

Had a wonderful stay at Mountain Pine Majesty! The location is peaceful, with a beautiful green view that adds to the relaxing ambiance. The washrooms were spotless and well-maintained, ensuring a hygienic experience. The place felt completely safe and secure, making it perfect for a worry-free stay. A special mention to Mr. Lalit, who was extremely helpful and always just a phone call away. He made sure everything was comfortable and hassle-free. The Oak Chalet was nicely located near the approaching road. The view from balcony, the bed, the room size everything was perfect. The food available at this property is very nice and aptly priced. Nonika had good contacts for drivers and cab services for local sightseeing. The room was well lit with great wifi connectivity and room heater. We lived peacefully for a day and night with no major inconvenience. The bathroom was also clean and well placed. Only shortcoming I felt was at this price she could have placed hand towels, slippers and some bathroom kits for a more luxurious approach. Highly recommended to stay here when visiting Jibhi. All sightseeing places were nearby and easily approachable from this property. Special mention to Nikhil for taking care of us and being just a phone-call away for all thw needs.
