My boyfriend and I were very well received. We were able to book a scooter quickly as well as bicycles. The pool is very large and pleasant. The room is peaceful and spacious. However, the air conditioning right in front of the bed is not a very good idea. Otherwise, the communication was very fluid, responsive and friendly. The food is also delicious! We recommend this Airbnb which is quite close to all the activities without being noisy

Thung Sen was truly a haven oasis. We wanted a place away from the noise & crowd yet near enough to Tam Coc city centre and this location was it. The min we step foot here, we were mesmerised by its untouched & well-preserved surroundings. We found out we were staying on a Uesco World Heritage site! We initially planned to bike around to enjoy nature. Turns out we have the best view in Ninh Binh right outside our bamboo house. Mountains, lotus lakes, viewpoint where you can see the Tam Coc boats row by....The room amenities were simple yet unique e.g. bamboo clothes hanger, traditional style metal locks. Rustic & comfortable. The hospitality at Thung Sen was warm & outstanding. Phuong & her team took very good care of us. They clearly took pride in their work & most importantly enjoyed what they do. You can see it in their smiles & teamwork efforts. Breakfast was free & plenty of gluten-free options. Their full-fledged restaurant easily surpasses that of local eateries.

The sparkling clean bungalows have a magnificent view of the lake and the mountains. The owner and staff are so nice and welcoming and the pool is amazing on those hot afternoons. The location, while beautiful, is far from everything so if you don’t have transportation expect some grab and taxi rides - although they aren’t very expensive so it was fine. And one note- the WiFi is not very strong, but was adequate for our needs. Probably not great for digital nomads though.

We loved the homestay from beginning to end. Hang who greeted us was always smiling and very helpful. She ensured we enjoyed every minute of our stay with great recommendations to just little things like welcoming us back at the end of the day with refreshing fruit. Lovely to have free bikes waiting for us to use - especially as the area is flat and so a pleasure to bike ride!! Breakfast was great and the room was comfortable. Highly recommend this homestay
