Beautiful location, great hosts, very helpful. If able, definitely recommend the motorbike/scooter tour Thanh offers and also hiring a scooter yourself and going exploring the surrounding mountains. Great location, beautiful setting and big rooms. We arrived late at night and was asked if we would like to have dinner ready for when we arrived. This was s nice little touch. They organised scooters for us, which allowed us to see more of Ninh Binh. I loved the location which is right near the pagoda and you can see it at night from this location.

great place, clean rooms. there is an indoor pool and a pool table in the public area that can be used. the host was helpful and provided us with useful suggestions and also helped us book Limousine Van tickets. overall nice place!

The place is right near a water body and very close to pagoda. It’s a very beautiful natural layout with amazing home made local food and good local beer. The care taker though can’t speak English but uses google translator for effective communication. It’s feel awesome to have a cup of coffee near the lake. The hospitality is also awesome and room is big, clean and spacious.

Host was really accommodating during our stay. Helped us book bus, scooter, and helped us with laundry. The bungalow is nestled around nature so it was super lovely to fall asleep to the sound of geckos and frogs.

The host and his family are so peaceful and friendly. We always greeted each other with a smile. Clean toilets and bedding allowed us to have a good rest. When I turned on the water, I was briefly startled by the thud of the water tank, but it was fine. The sound of chickens and birds outside gave me a rural atmosphere, so I was able to relax. Thank you very much! And I have a very cute kid! very very pretty and cute And also the host allowed us to store our luggage. Thank you very much

What an amazing place to stay! Mountain Side is such a beautiful family run homestay, with delicious food, great recommendations for near by attractions, comfy beds, and great extras such as the pool, pool table and dog and cat! Our family of 4 loved our stay, and look forward to returning 💛

Duong and his wife's place is a huge favorite. Thank you for your kindness, for all the recommendations and for arranging us before and after our reservation. The accommodation is very well located. Cleanliness level in the room or pool, that's fine. The beds are comfortable and the restaurant is just great, both on the quality and the price. Finally, the wifi connection is very good (I had to work there and had no problems). Our experience in Ninh Binh was exceptional thanks to Duong and his wife. Go ahead, you won't regret it!

The place is amazing and we had the much needed rest stop we were looking for. It is located in a scenic surrounding and has many restaurants in walkable distance. Mountain side also provides good good at good rates and the breakfast was large and filling. The pool is clean and the entire family running the property works very hard to look after the place. The even organized rental scooters for us at a good rate. Thanks for an amazing holiday.

Nice little cosy hotel. Room was spacious for the 4 of us (2 adults 2 kids). Bed was comfortable. All in all clean (not super-clean). Pool was clean and kids enjoyed it. You can rent a bike for little money and explore the area. Restaurants in walking distance. Host are very nice. We liked it!

We did not stay here because of a last minute issue but they set us up with cosiana honestly and I can’t recommend that place enough. They gave us an itinerary with prices and suggestions along with included breakfast that was sooo yummy. They also held our stuff for us after checkout with no extra charge. Loved this place so much and glad we ended up with them!

Our stay here was perfect. Vân was extremely welcoming and allowed us to check-in early which was greatly appreciated! The accommodation is very clean and looks exactly like the pictures. The location is very central and is lovely and peaceful... the pool was an excellent addition! I The included breakfast was very filling and tasty. I would stay here again if back in Tam Coc and highly recommend it! Thank you again for your hospitality Vân :)

Lovely room, and had a lovely stay only stayed for a night. Host was very helpful. Bathroom was also very nice.

Lovely place to stay, just a minute or 2 from everything. The staff were great. 100% recommended.

For the price, you get a nice place to stay here! We felt very welcome in the beautifully landscaped complex. The breakfast was very, very tasty and rich! The apartment is as in the pictures and cozy. The only downside is that the bathroom is a bit outdated and also smelled a bit unpleasant when we arrived.

Thung Sen was truly a haven oasis. We wanted a place away from the noise & crowd yet near enough to Tam Coc city centre and this location was it. The min we step foot here, we were mesmerised by its untouched & well-preserved surroundings. We found out we were staying on a Uesco World Heritage site! We initially planned to bike around to enjoy nature. Turns out we have the best view in Ninh Binh right outside our bamboo house. Mountains, lotus lakes, viewpoint where you can see the Tam Coc boats row by....The room amenities were simple yet unique e.g. bamboo clothes hanger, traditional style metal locks. Rustic & comfortable. The hospitality at Thung Sen was warm & outstanding. Phuong & her team took very good care of us. They clearly took pride in their work & most importantly enjoyed what they do. You can see it in their smiles & teamwork efforts. Breakfast was free & plenty of gluten-free options. Their full-fledged restaurant easily surpasses that of local eateries.
