The picturesque town of Lucerne is 15 minutes away and you can drive to Interlaken, Bern, Zürich or Basel within an hour. You can get to Engelberg with its spectacular Mount Titlis in 45 minutes, not to mention a number of other major attractions. The building is situated in a very calm area with farmers in the neighborhood. 5-10 min. walk to the grocery store.

Within 10-15 minutes you can reach the old town and many other great places in Lucerne by bus. A few steps lead to the apartment, because the apartment is on the slope. The apartment is cozy and warm in winter and in summer the air conditioner provides additional cooling.
