College Hill Cottage is located on College Hill, on the scenic, historic site of Weethee Academy in the heart of the Appalachian region of Ohio. Just 15 miles from Athens, Ohio, enjoy the peace and tranquility of the private, spacious yard relaxing on the large front deck, or the side porch. Plenty of space for relaxing, picnics, or watching the deer, turkeys, birds, and squirrels. Close proximity to Ohio University, Hocking Hills, Lake Hope, and Burr Oak State Parks, and Wayne National Forest.

The Cottage

This is a rural location. Located on an open hill along a private drive, this newly built -"little house on the prairie"- is surrounded by fields on one end and woods on the other. The moon and lotsa stars at night -no neighbors nearby. Trails and ponds are available for your enjoyment. Swimming* and fishing is encouraged in the warmer months. A small outdoor fire ring is nearby. Hiking in the woods on the far side of the field will be off limits last week of October through thanksgiving.

The Stargazer is a perfect staycation/vacation cottage, welcoming guests to stay on a 68 acre tree farm with 8 Nigerian dwarf goats, 6 sheep & three chubby dogs. The farm was recently quoted by Vinton Soil Water Conservation as a wildlife mecca, perfect for anyone looking to reconnect with nature & relax.
