Very good shopping is within walking distance. In the district town of Itzehoe you are 10 minutes away by car, 45 minutes to Büsum and Hamburg is easily accessible by bus and train.

Marilou is a fantastic host, responsive, helpful and generous. We were on bicycles and there was plenty of space in the hall to leave them safely. We were also able to wash/dry our clothes. We would definitely welcome the opportunity to stay with her again if we are in the area. Thanks

A great place to stay on my pre-planned bike trip. I was aware beforehand that the place was a bit in the middle of nowhere and that's exactly why I chose it. The little cottage was equipped with everything I needed and for the next ones certainly a little more, since I didn't need anything from the well-equipped little kitchen. Phine welcomed me very kindly and made sure that I had everything. The small bench in front of the cottage invited you to hang around and the cottage is very cozy in total. The small bathroom is chic and new, the water pressure is excellent in the shower and the bed is very comfortable. Hardly suitable for more than 2 people, but I would come back, as the location and amenities are perfect for a short stay. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a few days, this is a good place to be. The tip for breakfast and dinner (be sure to pay attention to the days) for the small restaurant 2km away was perfect

We felt at home in the place. The apartment was super clean, very large and stylishly and comfortably furnished. Check-in was straightforward and Sybille was very friendly and helpful. We were even able to share the spacious garden and the numerous play options such as swing, slide, Velcro frame for our children. The place is highly recommended.
