Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Hokianga Harbour

We had a wonderful stay at John’s place!! The house is amazing and the views of the ocean are just incredible. John’s home is very comfortable and well furnished, and we took advantage of the hot tub and the kayaks - those things made a nice stay even better. We appreciated all of the great outdoor space and the well stocked kitchen (probably the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever had at an Airbnb). John was super host - very responsive, answered all our questions right away and even stopped by with some life jackets for the kayaks. The only small issue we had were some ants in the kitchen when we checked in. John had ant bait available and we used that right away and had no more issues during our stay. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This is our second stay here, and we are drawn to this peaceful area not only for its serenity but also for its stunning views. Additionally, the house is impeccably clean. We also extended our stay by an extra day on short notice, and Debbie was instrumental in accommodating our request. We appreciate her assistance and express our gratitude to Debbie for being an exemplary host. We will definitely be back on our next visit.. thanks, Losa

We enjoyed our stay at Laurel’s place. A lovely setting and close to Kerikeri village. Laurel was a friendly and helpful host and we would happily stay again

I would like to start off by saying how peaceful and beautiful and majestic this land is. The farmhouse is an amazing place to stay if you want some peace and quiet if you want to be able to see the Milky Way at night or wake up to cows and sheep in the morning. It was a last-minute Airbnb find for myself and my friend and Marissa was fabulous! She came over and made sure the house was good for us and when we got there, she also left us four fresh eggs, some freshly made hot cross buns, and some milk for the coffee. I felt like home!! The kitchen is unbelievable. The beds were so comfortable I didn’t wanna wake up. The sunrises over the mountains and the mist on the fields was beautiful. We got the most beautiful pictures of the sunrise and also some amazing pictures of the stars at night. I would recommend anybody in that area. The farmhouse is the place to go! Marissa and her husband showed us this beautiful scenic route to drive which we did and it was fabulous! The Farmhouse rocks

We had a comfortable stay in this lovely home with awesome views of the bay and surrounding hills. We had everything we needed and lots of space for everyone. Coopers Beach is a great base from which to explore the top of the North Island. Highly recommend this place!

James was a very accommodating and responsive host, the two properties are exactly as shown and served our large family gathering well. We got to hunker down in a cyclone but always felt sheltered and safe. Great for large groups!

Immaculate presentation in a simply stunning location. Fantastic hosts and complete privacy and seclusion. Whangaroa is a hidden jewel, off the beaten track, with plenty of great activities close by. Highly recommend to stay and play at Kauri Hill.
