Welcome to a cozy house close to the city center, with everything you may need. Perfect for quiet days in the mountains with your own hot tub and sauna in the garden. The house has an open living room and kitchen, wood-burning stove, large terrace and garden, barbecue area and pizza oven. Good sleeping places with made-up beds, towels included, and everything ready upon arrival. A nice base to explore Hallingdal. Downtown and with a short road to ski resorts, cross-country skiing, mountain hikes, fixing water and great bike trails in the area. Beautiful in summer and winter!

The house is in a peaceful, yet very central, location. It takes 15–20 minutes to walk to the train station/downtown and 10 minutes to walk to the Slaatta ski center. There are a total of 10 beds. 1st floor: alcove bedrooms, bedroom with double bed and sofa bed, bathroom with toilet/shower. Stairs up to the 2nd floor which contains two bedrooms, bathroom, laundry room, well-equipped kitchen and living room. Terrace with dining groups and barbecue. Parking is possible at the front door. Great bike trails, hiking trails, and ski trails within walking distance of the house.

Perfect base for those who want an active holiday with biking,fishing and mountain hikes at the foot of Hallingskarvet National Park. Fishing mountain trout and paddle right outside the door. The nature cabin is in the midst of Oslo and Bergen. Here you drive the car all the way into the intimate yard. The cabin has a patio with outdoor table. The living room has great views with large glass walls and gives a feeling of sitting outside. Charcoal grill and fire pan.

High and low climbing park is only 300m away, and about 500m away is Strandafjorden swimming area! Ål ski center is 8 km away and Geilo only 23 km. Hemsedal ski resort is 56 km from the cabin. Hardangervidda about 35 km. In the surrounding mountains you can pick and choose from fantastic ski slopes in winter and hiking trails in summer! The activity opportunities are just as good in winter as in summer!

I am sure you will enjoy a stay in Geilo and my apartment. Geilo is a beautiful place in winter as summer. It has a lot of activities all season. Ski slopes, cross-country skiing, fishing, walks in the mountains, shopping, restaurants, train station close to the apartment etc ... Geilo offer free bus to all lifts from the big parking by the roundabout. You can bye your fresh bread in the shop on the first floor from 7 am.
