In the summer, you have great hiking trails right outside the door. Vestlia, which is in the vicinity, has ski and bike rental, climbing park, ziplines and swimming pool.

It is just 6 km up to the high mountains in Skarvheimen where you can see Reineskarvet and Hallingskarvet. The cabin is located on its own and there is a road all the way to it.
