Experience authentic farm life in a charming, authentic "hallingstuga" (farmhouse). Here, you can grind coffee beans in an old mill and brew coffee over a wood-fired stove if you like. A refrigerator, a freezer, and a new bathroom are the latest additions. Hallingstugu is located on a working farm with cows, sheep, and free-range chickens. In the outdoor area, there is plenty of space for skiing and sledding. Popular nearby attractions include Nesfjellet Alpine Resort, golf, Nystølkroken Café, Langedrag Nature Park, and an extensive network of cross-country skiing trails. Everything is within a few kilometers by car.

The nature cabin is in the midst of Oslo and Bergen. Here you drive the car all the way into the intimate yard. The cabin has a patio with outdoor table. Here you live peacefully by Strandafjorden, with a short distance to Ål city center, hiking trails and ski trails. No electricity or running water – but everything you need for a real and atmospheric cottage experience. Perfect for couples, friends and families who want to relax and enjoy nature. In winter, a ski slope is made in and past the cabin – parking is then 1 km from the cabin.

The cabin has a terrace with evening sun in the summer where you can enjoy the sunset and the view until the sun goes down. Ski in ski out with immediate proximity to the alpine resort, and prepared ski trails around Ustedalsfjorden. 5-10 minutes walk to Vestlia Resort with restaurant, spa and swimming pool. Sangefjell can offer great hiking terrain in summer and winter and there is a good selection of ski slopes in a varied terrain. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Accessible by car during summer, and winter on a snow-ploughed private road. 4x4 recommended during winter. Bed linen and towels included!
