Annex located on the Ice Age Route

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in our little newly renovated secret at the back of the garden. Watch the wild grass grow in the flower meadow while the sun colors the landscape on the horizon. Put on your hiking boots and walk in Skimmelskov in 5 minutes, or pack your coffee and walk 1/2 hour to Kløveshøj to enjoy the view of the ice age landscape and Tissø. The annex is used daily for psychotherapy, and invites you to peace and presence. There is a private entrance from the sea path, and a small parking space for the car. Nice large charming cottage with good facilities on wild, scenic grounds. Amazing views of the fjord, nearby bathing mole. Easy access to the island by ferry. 10 min. drive from the ferry. Suitable for families. No parties. 6 beds (two bunk beds and one double) in the main house and a bunk bed and 1.5 man bed in the annex. Best suited for 6-8 people. Large terrace, gas grill, outdoor shower, trampoline. High chair, no crib. Cleaning is mandatory. Bring your own bed linen and towels. No smoking house.

Welcome to this idyllic log cabin, with stunning views. Inside, you can enjoy the warmth from the wood stove. The bathroom has been newly renovated and has a large bathtub. Outside, you can enjoy the beautiful view or sit by the fireplace and enjoy nature. There are many good hiking trails in the area. The cottage has 3 kayaks you can borrow if you want to enjoy the fjord from the water. The fjord "Tempelkrogen" is known for its good fishing waters. The cottage is 45 minutes from Copenhagen.

Our summerhouse is situated on a small island, Oroe, in Isefjord. It sits on a bluff, almost at the end of a gravel road, with direct access to the fjord from the house. We provide Danish traditional summer house-hygge in natural surroundings with a twist of modern facilities. The house is our private home, open for guests only 10-12 times a year ( the original idea behind AirBnB) In general, we attempt to be as sustainable as possible i.e we always try to repair rather than to replace.

You will feel the calm settle, already when you wait for the small train ferry that in 5 minutes transports you to the island.
