Buttercup Pod 💚 🌳 Beautiful and luxury Glamping

RebeccaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Buttercup pod was even more than we had hoped. The perfect place for a peaceful weekend with our 3 & 5 year olds. The pod itself is beyond beautiful (bunk beds were a hit) but it was the outdoor space that really blew us away. It truly felt like we were the only people for miles - the children rode their bikes and explored the surroundings for hours, toasted marshmallows in the fire pit, made pizzas in the pizza oven, and we lost count of time spent in the hot tub. Rowland was super helpful and even let us check in early so we could enjoy the better weather which we really appreciated, and responded to any queries super quickly. We would 100% recommend buttercup pod. It was just perfect.

Unique vacation cottage

JohnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is very far from the usual holiday home. There were lashings of hot water, the kitchen knives were properly sharp, there were more bathrooms than we needed and there were things of beauty everywhere. And that is before mentioning the wonderful view from the house and terrace - we had to drag ourselves away sometimes - the huge safe garden for children to play in and the magical walk through old woods to the beach. After more than fifty years of family holidays we all agreed it was the best place we have ever stayed,

Cornwall Beach House - Panoramic Sea Views

BobbyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had the most incredible stay at this property. The views alone were some of the best we’ve ever experienced, with the deck overlooking the sea. The beach is a short walk down the cliff side from the property (the walk back up is a workout to say the least, especially on a boiling hot day!) and a stroll across the sand couldn’t have been more peaceful. Christian was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions. This is the perfect place to switch off, with bedrooms with great views and a spacious living room and kitchen. The only thing we’d suggest is possibly bringing your own essentials, such as milk, butter and cooking bits as local shops are about a 15 minute drive. Overall we can’t recommend this place enough, we really needed to reset after a hectic few months and we finally managed to here for which we are so grateful.
Barn in Yealmpton

Newly converted barn in S. Devon near Mothecombe.

MichelleRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A calm oasis in the countryside. I saw the barn owl several times, watched hares chasing each other, had many sunrises and sunsets that were spectacular. I saw stoats, rabbits, deer and new born lambs in fields. It is a beautiful setting and I watched the first swallows arrive for summer here. Dog walks on local beaches and around surrounding areas have been glorious. The bed here was comfortable, with a warm cosy but modern feel; underfloor heating kept this small barn toasty warm! It is a private place and there was car parking. Directions were simple to follow. It is tucked away in a valley. I was organised and brought food with me, and I self-catered using their facilities. The owners Kim and Ant were kind and I felt respected and welcomed.

Mike and Lyn were very friendly and helpful and were excellent hosts. The cottage was well appointed and beautifully clean. The sofa and bed were very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. The area is beautiful and the walk to Ayrmer Cove is stunning.

Cosy character 2 bed cottage in Yealmpton

PennyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is a very comfortable cottage in a good location. It was easy to find and to access using a lock box. The cottage was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped but apart from some salt and pepper and a welcome pack of a few tea bags and coffee sachets and a packet of biscuits and a pint of milk there was nothing else like oil etc which was ok but you need to know this. As mentioned the bathroom is small making the shower (over bath) difficult to access and it wasn't very powerful. The access from the main road was up a very narrow steep road which fortunately wasn't very long but this was tricky to drive and the parking space was a bit awkward to get into and on a slope so care is needed in getting out of and into the car! We did enjoy our stay despite these few niggles and got used to the access after a couple of times in and out. We liked the farm shop but didn't try any of the other village ammenities.

Seafront Beach House with Panoramic Views

GeorgeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Just back from a fantastic three nights at Paul’s place. The location of the house is fabulous, just 1-2 minutes walk from the beach. It felt very homely and comfortably sleeps 8 Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea and beach was sublime. Drinks up in the bar on the top decking at the back of the house in the evening with stunning views was real bonus. There are plenty of games to keep you occupied and we didn’t turn the TV on, not once. A nice spacious kitchen and a dinning room table that sits 8. We walked over to Burgh Island for a lovely meal at The Pilchard. Had a dip in the sea. Played golf at the very friendly and welcoming Bigbury and Thurlestone golf clubs and rounded it all off with a final meal at The Oyster Shack, only 10 minutes drive away. Will be back with the family. Thank you. George W

Gorgeous Devon Cottage, near Mothecombe Beach

WilliamRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Very cosy place right opposite the shop and the pub, 20 minute walk from the beautiful estuary and half hour to Mothercombe beach and coastal path. 5 mile cycle from the nearest train station Ivybridge. Sleeps 5 comfortably, more than 5 round the table would be tight. Lovely dining / breakfast area in the conservatory. Well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms.
