The Cartlodge makes an ideal base for exploring the countryside with the market town of Woodbrige and and the popular Sutton Hoo site just 10 miles away.

Our comfortable and quiet cottage annexe provides a well-equipped place to stay for a self-catering short break or longer, with wi-fi included. The comfortable sitting room looks out onto the private garden where there is a small patio containing outdoor chairs and table. The ensuite bedroom (double-bed) has a vaulted ceiling and ample storage.

As is normal nowadays, the house has unlimited wi-fi and all you would expect in a modern house. Tea, Coffee, Sugar is always provided. There is direct access from the bottom of the garden onto the ‘sea wall’ along the river, for walks and wonderful birdwatching. There is a duckpond (fenced) by the house and chickens (collect the eggs), and a large summerhouse with veranda in the garden, as well as a paddock of alpacas!
