This was our second time staying at Hamma hamma hideaway. You feel right at home, and taken care of. It has a lived in feel like someone really cares about this place and like the owners also spend time there. The privacy can’t be beat. We took the kayaks out everyday and appreciated the extra life jackets and different sizes. They also have boots for borrowing and mud tromping and oyster gloves and shuckers. Can’t wait to return.

My husband found this rental about six months ago while watching the Salish Sasquatch on YouTube. He showed me the listing and I kept it in the back of my mind as his 50th birthday was coming up and it looked like a fun place for the family celebration. Our stay at this vacation rental was nothing short of amazing! Though remote and completely off-grid, the home was stocked with everything we could possibly need—and more. It’s clear that an extraordinary amount of care and thought has gone into making this space not only functional, but comfortable (even luxurious!), and most of all memorable. The attention to detail and thoughtful touches are what truly set this rental apart, beginning with the warm in-person welcome. The setting is peaceful, private, and the view stunning. The outdoor spaces were perfect for morning coffee, evening drinks, games, and fires under the stars. We absolutely loved it and cant wait to share the experience of this stay with others.

My wife and I were looking for a peaceful weekend getaway as our kids were out of town. This looked like it would check off the boxes we were looking for. The space was just right for us. Waking up to the incredible beauty of hood canal, easy access to the water so we could drop our kayaks and go. Beautiful wildlife including many bald eagles, harbor seals, sea stars, sea cucumbers, octopus, oysters, clams, the list goes on. We cannot wait to come back!

Lucy’s place was a wonderful stay. It was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was clean and very nice. There was a beautiful view of the water through the trees. The only draw back of this house honestly is that it’s not super close to any grocery stores, about 25-30 min, but we were looking for a private, secluded place and this was absolutely perfect for that. The host was extremely attentive, helpful and responsive. She also allowed us an early check in and offered a late check out time. She was literally the best host I’ve communicated with. Our group loved this place and all agreed we would absolutely come back again!
