Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Holmes County

Absolutely loved this airbnb. I didn't realize it at the time of booking, it's wilking distance to Der Dutchman restaurant & bakery, Rebecca's bistro (so good), antique mall & more. A short 4 min walk to each. The house was VERY clean and cute. Loved the back patio & fireplace. Didn't even feel like a basement at all. House was stocked with everything we needed, including a crib, baby toys, and table top fan in the bedroom. Loved the area! Will definitely stay here again.

The Dotty Haus was a perfect place for or family to stay. My grandson loved the fresh chocolate chip cookies that were left for us, there were four but he wasn’t sharing! Lol Wonderful place and we will definitely stay again when visiting Amish country again!

This was my second stay at this gorgeous home. Just like my first stay, it was spotless! The home is comfortable and allowed my friends and I to enjoy our time together. We played pool and board games one evening and it was absolutely the best time. We will definitely be booking this home again!

It was a perfect, cute, clean place for myself, daughter, & 2 daughter-n -laws! Plenty of cozy space to sit, relax, sleep, & eat at a table together! Plus having 2 bathrooms was great! We had everything we needed. (I did bring my own box of tissues, & glad I did!) Short walk to eating & shopping! Only drawback for us, was we couldn’t watch any local, in real time TV. (Dateline, 20/20, etc. Roku TV doesn’t provide it. We were able, with Amanda, the host’s help to get my daughter-n-laws streaming service, which gave us ample programming! All & all it was a good choice for us!!

There’s nothing better than taking a nice relaxing vacation down to the Amish country. this location was in the heart of the Amish country and just minutes away from all of the great places we’ve come to love and enjoy. When we walked in, it was just like the pictures beautiful all three floors laid out nice. my family enjoyed every inch of this house everything clean and pristine right down the street from Walnut Creek Cheese was simply a blessing being able to go grab items from the store and be back at the in no time. Can’t wait to go back and stay here again. Would definitely recommend to all my friends.

The house itself exceeded our expectations, in content and atmosphere. It was such a wonderful place to relax, which is what we did! The location was perfect. We only left the house once to go to the near by Market/Bakery. Four friends from north and south met for games, sitting by the fire, catching up on our lives and much laughter. A perfect weekend. Thank you so much for sharing your home and your lives through all the wonderful pictures of the Congo.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location provided a relaxing atmosphere from the front porch to the patio with fire pit. We received amazing hospitality from Miriam. The homemade goodies were delicious. The house was very charming. We definitely would stay there again!!

This place is a great rare find airbnb in with swimming pool. Although we couldn’t use the pool due to weather staying under 65F, our kids did enjoyed enough of the hot tub. The rear view is beautiful. Even the dirt clearing side view from distance is worth watching. Free firewood is definitely a great addition. There were enough chairs and towels for 10. The beds and rooms were cleaned and nice. The only drawback was the sound of the traffic as it’s right on the road but we knew and didn’t bother much and owner had nothing to do about it. Parking was more than enough and finding the place was easy. We will be back with kids when the weather is warm enough for using the pool. Thanks Scott & Amanda for hosting us.

This is probably the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. My sister-in-law and I decided to have a girl’s weekend getaway from husband/fiancé and kids, and Amish Country was our first pick. We found several that caught our eye, but this one stood out. It is a centralized location, looked so pretty and peaceful, and the reviews were great. They were NOT WRONG! We were not disappointed. James was responsive and communicative before and during our stay to make sure everything was perfect and check-in was a breeze. The space was cozy, but spacious at the same time, and had plenty of amenities. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will be staying here again, every time we come to Holmes County! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would, and I know my sister-in-law would as well!

10/10 recommend Zachary’s place. Everything was clean, functional, and exceeded our expectations. Loved how private yet walkable the location was. We got coffee, donuts and breakfast sandwiches at the cafe below and everything was delicious. Will be booking a stay for my parents in the near future! (And for us again before we know it). Clean, comfortable, cozy, and peaceful. The Barnwood went above and beyond expectations. The setting was peaceful, and the space was spacious, but still cozy. It was described perfectly and it was clean and neat as a pin. We will definitely be staying again when in the area. It is well worth the very reasonable price, and the use of the amenities at the resort nearby is a definite bonus!

Wow!!! Landon’s place was beautiful, somewhere I would be proud to live full time. It was spotless and had all the necessities. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and sitting by the fire. The views were so serene. Plenty of space in the unit for two couples. The kitchen was fully equipped. He truly thought of everything. Don’t forget to visit the areas he recommended in his welcome email. They didn’t disappoint! I wouldn’t hesitate in booking with Landon!

We really enjoyed our stay in our cottage. We were pleasantly surprised at how large the unit was. Very nice!!! It had everything we needed and the location was perfect for our plans.

Amazing place to stay if you’re looking to get away from the noise. Zachary is a great host and a caring person. The suite was spotless and high end. From the linen on the bed to the curtains on the windows, very high quality. I recommend staying here if you ever go down to Millersburg.

We had an amazing stay at Chris’s place! The apartment was clean, cozy, and perfectly located. Chris was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The area was quiet and safe, with great restaurants and shops within a few miles. We loved sitting on the patio and enjoying the scenery. This was our second stay at Deer Trace, and it was everything we remembered and LOVED about the place! To be able to be comfortable and together for another lifetime celebration, we loved every minute of it. Being able to be unconnected from the outside worldly distractions was perfect!

we really enjoyed our stay! Ruth was very helpful and proactive before and during our stay. This was a perfect get away for our entire family. We were able to have enough space with our children and grandchildren while enjoying the peaceful and beautiful views. We all agree this a new annual tradition!

This cabin was absolutely beautiful. Our host Missy was amazing. The cabin had everything you could need and more. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Inside the cabin there was so much thought and detail put into it. Our family would definitely stay again. It is well kept and super clean. I would recommend this cabin to any one.

We stayed a night in this beautiful cabin! It was so peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The hot tub was amazing, the cabin had an amazing view. It was a very welcoming and clean environment. It was very cool to see the cattle close by and even watching them graze from the patio. The hosts are so nice and responsive. They truly made it a memorable stay!!

We had an amazing stay in the cabin! It was perfect for two people. Nice shower and hot tub! I will say the lights around the fire pit are very dim so keep that in mind when having a fire at night because it does get very dark in the woods! Otherwise the stay was amazing!

The cabin was very clean and well kept. They had items there that you will need and not even think they would have available. Everything has been well thought by the hosts. The view off the back deck was beautiful with trees and birds. They also had hummingbird feeders which was cool to see the birds come up to! Me and my husband had a wonderful stay and we will come back again!

This home was a perfect weekend retreat for myself and four friends looking to get some R&R in Amish Country. Being walking distance from Der Dutchman and several other shops was a big selling point for us. The home has HUGE living, kitchen, and dining areas that were perfect for our 2 year old guest to run around and play tea parties in. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. And having two bathrooms was perfect for 5 adults to get ready. We already said we can’t wait to schedule our next trip back here in the fall!
