Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Holmes County

I've stayed in many Airbnbs. What stood out the most was the cleanliness of this house. It was clean without the overpowering smell of clean. The beds were comfortable. She provided coffee cake which was AMAZING! She even provided to-go containers to take home the cake we didn't eat. The setting was also nice. It sits on a farm and there are lots of farms in the surrounding area. We drove around the first night to see everything. There are many good places to eat in Sugarcreek, Walnut Creek and Millersburg, but if you want pizza, definitely get it from Charm Pizza. I'm still thinking about it. Overall, this stay was amazing!

There’s nothing better than taking a nice relaxing vacation down to the Amish country. this location was in the heart of the Amish country and just minutes away from all of the great places we’ve come to love and enjoy. When we walked in, it was just like the pictures beautiful all three floors laid out nice. my family enjoyed every inch of this house everything clean and pristine right down the street from Walnut Creek Cheese was simply a blessing being able to go grab items from the store and be back at the in no time. Can’t wait to go back and stay here again. Would definitely recommend to all my friends.

This is our second time staying here. The location is very convenient. The house was clean and clutter free. We hope to return next year!

This place is a great rare find airbnb in with swimming pool. Although we couldn’t use the pool due to weather staying under 65F, our kids did enjoyed enough of the hot tub. The rear view is beautiful. Even the dirt clearing side view from distance is worth watching. Free firewood is definitely a great addition. There were enough chairs and towels for 10. The beds and rooms were cleaned and nice. The only drawback was the sound of the traffic as it’s right on the road but we knew and didn’t bother much and owner had nothing to do about it. Parking was more than enough and finding the place was easy. We will be back with kids when the weather is warm enough for using the pool. Thanks Scott & Amanda for hosting us.

we enjoyed our stay! Felt very safe there, parking was easy, we didn't use the outside area but it looked great! Close to all the places that we wanted to visit. Patti was really quick to respond to our questions.

This house is a great play to stay to unplug and get away in the country. The homemade apple pie at check in was a great surprise. Also, this home was great as it is pet friendly and our dog Nala loved the outdoors, especially the back porch. When we entire to Holmes county again we will be looking at the availability of the is property. Mark and Mary were quite responsive and the listing was exactly as stated. They let us know in advance of the slower Internet and WiFi and was easily remedied with our Starlink. Also, Charlotte the horse is a real sweetheart and saw her each morning We will be back.

Very nice country setting with waterfront pond view. Very clean and comfortable cabin like unit. Great experience overall. Only negatives would be that only one tiny circlet of soap is provided, when 2 would be more adequate — for bathroom hand washing, and showering. Also the guest on the upper floor was banging things around, and dropping things on the floor around 7 AM, which is ridiculous. With that said, it is not the fault of the establishment’s ownership, as that is out of their control, unfortunately. Highly recommend.

Wow!!! Landon’s place was beautiful, somewhere I would be proud to live full time. It was spotless and had all the necessities. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and sitting by the fire. The views were so serene. Plenty of space in the unit for two couples. The kitchen was fully equipped. He truly thought of everything. Don’t forget to visit the areas he recommended in his welcome email. They didn’t disappoint! I wouldn’t hesitate in booking with Landon!

This place was amazing, spotless and beautiful, location was perfect right in the center of the town with a gorgeous view of the courthouse right outside the window. We absolutely loved it and want to come back!

Jeff was a very good host. He responded in a timely matter for anything I wanted. The home was as a Leon the picture. Everything was great very peaceful. I really enjoyed my day and will recommend this place to anybody.

We absolutely loved our one night.Stay in this cabin! Everything was perfect! very close proximity, to lots of shopping and dining. Jeff was very responsive with any question we had! the only negative was that the pool, sauna jacuzzi was in a fitness center 1.3 miles away, we had to leave the facility to get to, it was crowded with the screaming childre , and the sauna was out of order. by looking at the photos, it seemed that the pool was on site and communal. there was also no charcoal for the grill( not a huge deal.) all in all, I give this place 5 stars. It was a great weekend getaway, and we will be returning!

If you are looking for a peaceful and tranquil setting, then this is the place for you. They had a delightful bird feeder set up right off of the living room area that was very relaxing to sit and watch. I am not sure that we have ever stayed at an Airbnb that was as clean as this one. It was exactly what we were looking for and cannot wait to return!

This was our first time in the Millersburg and we will be booking this apartment every time we’re in the area! The apartment is GORGEOUS and looks even better than the pictures! It’s very spacious, clean, and it even smells so nice! The instructions on where to park are very clear. The neighborhood has good restaurants, coffee, and ice cream, and it’s a perfect location near all the Millersburg/Berlin/Sugarcreek attractions.

Hillside Villa was an amazing stay! Was very conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Berlin but also very quiet and peaceful. Was also very easy to find. We had the Hillside View Suite and it was an amazing view. Everything was very clean and above expectations. The owners are very responsive with communication. We will definitely be returning for future trips!

Hillside was a unique staying experience. It was very much a hostel style environment where there were a lot of shared common spaces and a good chance you will run into other guests. Which could make for a pretty unique experience if the other guests are sociable or friendly. It can also create an awkward experience if the others guests are loud or prefer privacy. The place was listed with washer dryer but we had to call to get access when the host said none was available upon arrival. The house is very large and up on a hill over looking the countryside. There was a faint musty smell in the home and some areas with water damage signs. The basement was a little worse with the smell. The pool table had seen better days and someone left it standing with a partially broken/unscrewed leg. We wanted to enjoy the downstairs tv area but the smell was a bit overwhelming. The place had a lot of potential. The room we stayed in itself was nice with it's own whirlpool tub. Kitchen access a plus!

Our stay at The Lodge on the Hill in Sugarcreek was amazing. It is a wonderful place for family/friends to spend quality time with one another. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at The Lodge-it never disappoints. The amenities are plentiful, the view beautiful and the host is readily available. The Lodge on the Hill is highly recommended.

This was a beautiful place to stay. We loved the quiet, the serenity, and a great place to relax and rejuvenate! Everything was clean and very comfortable! They go the extra mile for their guests and if an opportunity arises, we will be back!

We loved the quiet, peaceful atmosphere! This was our 3rd stay at Hillside and it won’t be our last!

We had a lovely stay! The wrap around covered porch with views of the rolling Amish farmlands was gorgeous. The double access to the room made it easy to bring in our belongings from our car without tromping through the shared space. The bed was very comfortable. The bath was huge and the jet tub was a nice surprise. We built a fire in the outdoor firepit and four other guests joined in for conversation. We really enjoyed having our own rocking chairs just outside our door to drink our wine in the evening and coffee in the morning while taking in that beautiful view! Late at night we enjoyed a few rounds of pool in the lower Game Room. If you are bird watchers, I highly recommend a visit here. From the Mockingbird that sits on the fencepost just under our room, to the numerous songbirds darting about and the rare Kestrel hiding in the Walnut trees. My Merlin App was lighting up with more birds than we could imagine! I highly recommend this Airbnb that is just a minute from town.
