Mango Hale Cottage

RandallRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Our stay at the cottage was fantastic. The street is peaceful and beautiful. The home is surrounded by mango trees and wildlife; in the morning you can hear the birds singing all around and in the outdoor shower area you might see a little gecko friend!

Look No Further Hale Nai'a Pink Cottage Kealakekua

HettyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
wonderful! Don't miss. Highlights: bed extremely comfortable, great hot water and shower pressure, washer/dryer; we cooked fresh fish every night (but could have eaten it raw): from Kona Seafood Market and Choice Mart. Don't miss the view, carrot cake, Ono fish sandwich and EVERYTHING at Coffee shack cafe. Loved the Kayak rental on the corner, we saw the dolphins at Captain Cook and snorkled at 2 step beach every day! We slept so well! Even through roosters and Coqui frog (everywhere on the island). Thank you Rusty for use of the snorkling equipment - including wetsuits and EVERYTHING!

Kealakekua Bay Bali Cottage -steps from Bay

AnnieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stepping out of my car, I was greeted by Karen and we walked through the magical lights towards my place for the night. There was a little “welcome Annie” sign at the door. Karen then walked me down to the beach to see where I could snorkel in the morning. This museum like home is full of LOVE. Art, Elephants, surf boards, even a buddha gong. Unfortunately for me, it was also full of little spider roommates that hung high above the bathroom and bedroom. The occasional spider is okay, but to have that many eyes on me was unnerving. I couldn’t stay a second night. I know, I know….I have an unnatural fear. I didn’t see any other friends. I would stay here again if I was with someone else. The bed was super comfy…. and the shower was heavenly. That was the best part for me! The fridge and stove were dirty so I opted out of eating there. ‘The Coffee Shack’, is a very delicious restaurant with an amazing view!! Call ahead to get on the waitlist.

“Special Rate” Private, Waimea Ohana (Guest House)

CarmenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Loved this stay. Convenient, modern house with clean and quiet location. We loved being able to walk to coffee and Merriman’s for dinner. The location is a short drive (15-20 mins) from beaches too. I would highly recommend it!

Lovely Kona Island Getaway (Gazebo, 2bed/1 bath)

LauraRating, 5 stars6 days ago
I stayed here a week with my father and we really enjoyed it! Everything was clean, comfortable, and as described. Location is great, we loved the peaceful quiet of being in a neighborhood while still being less than 10min drive down to the heart of Kona. Diana was super responsive and helpful when I had a few questions. Highly recommend!

Sea View Studio Getaway

JorgeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at Rachel’s studio four nights over Memorial Day weekend. The studio is spacious and comfortable. The queen bed is comfortable, too. The temperatures were high 60s to high 70s, so it was perfect without AC. The view from the deck is delightful. You need a car to get anywhere from here, but it’s a short drive into town. Even on the holiday weekend we were able to find free parking, usually on a stretch of Ali’i Drive just across from “On the Rocks” - a great place for a Mai Tai on the beach! You can easily walk anywhere in town from there. The studio is a great base for touring the island. Thanks, Rachel, for a great stay!

All About The View!

ElizabethRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Essentially your own little home with the most beautiful view of Kailua-Kona. We stayed just one night after our tour of the Big Island before heading to the airport the next afternoon, but this would be a great spot to park it for a whole week as a base camp. We hit up the Manta Ray tour at Manta Ray Advocates the night before and came back to a relaxing soak in the hot tub and stargazing afterwards. Fully stocked kitchen and pretty much any condiment you'd need in the fridge. And we really appreciated the chance to do some laundry midway through our trip to Hawaii.

Fresh & Bright Tropical Getaway

KaitlinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Chris and Hannah's place was exactly as described, and just what we needed for a base for lots of different Big Island adventures. Hannah reached out a few times to make sure we had everything we needed and was very friendly. IF you are not a confident parker or have a big vehicle, make sure to let the hosts know so you can swap cars for street parking. I was Austin Powering into the parking space every evening in a rental Chevy Malibu, but considered it an opportunity for personal growth as a driver.

Hawaiian Bungalow with stunning ocean views

BellaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Fantastic apartment south of Captain Cook village. It is about a 40 min drive to Kailua-Kona, so the location is a little remote. The place itself is lovely and comfy and offers everything needed. I very much liked the “open windows” - no need for A/C, the fresh wind cools the apartment. I can get a little loud during the night because of the outside wild life. 🙃 Amanda is a great host and I can recommend the place.

Cute farmstay w oceanview | shared kitchen & bath

LindaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This property is absolutely incredible and feels like a dream! Belinda is a top-notch, five-star host. We arrived on the island at the last minute, in need of a place to stay, and she went above and beyond to help us—greeting us in the driveway and even assisting with our bags. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated in a charming vintage Hawaiian style. The shared kitchen was fully stocked, making breakfast a breeze. The highlight? Stepping just outside to pick fresh oranges and tangerines, then squeezing them into the sweetest, most refreshing juice imaginable. Surrounded by lush tropical foliage and the most adorable little green geckos, we savored our breakfasts on the lanai each morning. Days were spent exploring nearby beaches, and each night we returned to the soothing sounds of tropical birds. We couldn’t help but say, "Those staying in town are really missing out on an unforgettable Hawaiian experience." Staying here is something you’ll always remember—it was truly

Ohana With Private Pool & Jacuzzi

AnnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect! A private oasis minutes from restaurants and many of the activities we booked. Brittney was the perfect host! So sweet, always quick to respond, thorough in her instructions, provided perfect instructions and recommendations in her notebook, and checked in on us via text a couple times throughout our stay! We wish we could stay longer :)

SuzanneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved our stay at Christyn and Caleb's place! It is so clean and cozy and has so many thoughtful amenities, everything to make your stay that much more enjoyable. They are so nice and have great tips for restaurants and things to do around the island. We especially appreciated being able to use the beach gear for our snorkeling adventures. We would definitely love to stay here again!
