We had a wonderful stay! The condo was in a lovely area with an ocean view and walking distance to a nice shopping center where we grabbed coffee each morning. The accommodations were beautiful and clean and equipped with everything we needed and more! The garage was stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and sand toys for guests to enjoy. The bbq wasn’t working the day we tried it, but was quickly swapped out the following day for a brand new one. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again!

Pros: The place was very comfortable and nice. The resort area was great. Our family had a great time. Nice that they provide beach gear. The grocery store at Queens Marketplace has many grab and go options that tasted great. The beach was a 15 minute walk. Cons: The AC and fans are very loud so we couldn't have them on while we slept. There wasn't hot water but I don't know if that's how it is here. The lights flickered in a few rooms.

We spent 8 nights here, and found it to be perfect for our family of five (our kids are two teenagers and an 11yo). The kitchen had everything we could need/want, and then some--and the same was true for the enertainment/activity supplies (board games, Roku, beach chairs and towels, snorkeling equipment, tennis rackets/balls and a basketball and even a couple scooters). The pool and hot tub were beautiful (although the low-key vibe of the pool rules was a bit disappointing for our 11yo--but we made up for it by purchasing a day pass for the nearby Hilton pool a couple days), and the bar and restaurant at the pool were very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. We did our best to see the whole island, and this was a great home base for the week.

We had an amazing stay at Chris and Nancy’s piece of paradise! The location was perfect, close to nearby beaches but also tucked away from the hustle of downtown Kona. The private lanai and view from the master bedroom are spectacular. The neighbors are also kind and welcoming which added to a great stay. We’re so grateful to Chris and Nancy for hosting us and would absolutely love to return in the future!

Beautiful home, great location for a quiet vacation. There’s plenty of great relaxing beaches within a 20 minute radius. The home is fully equipped for beach days, has a stocked kitchen with pots and pans, a great top loading washer, front loading dryer and an awesome AC system that will keep you cool .There’s a few grocery stores around within 5-15 minutes, but if you’re looking to cook at home more there’s Safeway, Costco and Island Naturals about 40-45 minutes away that has more selection of foods. Planning ahead helps diminish the drives to the grocery store.

Fabulous tropical getaway! Wonderfully clean condo with great amenities. It was luxurious to have three bedrooms and three bathrooms, with a well stocked kitchen and beautiful lani! We enjoyed making many meals and mai tais and watching beautiful sunsets. Swam and hot tubed nearly every night and made use of the gym as well. Location is ideal for south Kona snorkeling access and we went to Two Step and Kahalu’u multiple times. So happy to have found Peter and Kathy’s place and would highly recommend it!

Simply put beautiful place. Horses came by for a head scratch from next door. The local critters running around. The frogs chirping all night this place was amazing. He had pictures a boogey board that I took full advantage of as well as other beach equipment for the stay. Hula daddy is walking distance if you want that famous Kona coffee. 10 out of 10 highly recommend for anyone that wants the slow pace of the country and within 20 min you got every amenity known to Kona.

Just got back from a great vacation and stay at Patricia & Tony’s. The pictures and description of the place is very accurate and the hosts were great to communicate with and gave recommendations on anything I asked. It was a 2 minute walk to the nearest beach to watch sunsets and only about 12 minute walk to some fantastic snorkelling. This area is quiet and safe. The air conditioners in the living room and bedroom worked great and were appreciated. I would not be afraid to stay here again. We enjoyed the location because it felt like we were in the middle of things we wanted to see and not at 1 end of the island.

Awesome Stay at Waikoloa Colony Villas 2404 My wife and I chose this villa for our 28th anniversary, and it was a great pick. The location’s perfect—just a 5-minute drive to the beach. The place was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed to settle in comfortably. Check-in was super easy, and the host was on top of things, always quick to respond. They provided beach chairs, a cooler, and snorkel gear, which made our trips to the beaches even better. We really enjoyed hanging out on the lanai in the evenings—great views and awesome weather for relaxing with a cold drink. Overall, it was a fantastic setup, and we had a good time. We’re already looking forward to coming back. If you need a nice spot in Waikoloa, this one’s a keeper.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location directly across from snorkeling. Loved sitting on balcony for morning coffee, watching surfers, or just watching sun go down over the ocean. Hosts are very responsive and also provide very helpful local recommendations for variety of things. We referenced their suggestions through the handy link almost every day. Beach essentials are included with the place as well.

Wonderful place. Great location. Great view. Super comfortable bed. Well thought out. Road noise occasionally a thing since you want to leave the windows open to hear the ocean. Host was super responsive and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Would highly recommend staying here! Great location on the west side of the island, peaceful and beautiful complex, comfortable, clean and nice townhouse. Brad and Damon were very responsive, helpful and attentive with any needs that came up or questions we had. 10/10

This was our third time staying at the Fairway Villas complex. We really liked the location close to the beaches and the Kings Shops. I enjoyed walking down along the beach in the morning, spotting whales jumping! We had a squeaky overhead fan in the master bedroom, and a Resortica staff member came over right away and provided a box fan for us to use during our stay, so that was great service. This is not reflection on Resortica, but we were pretty disappointed with the experience at the Hilton. The first two days the Kona pool was closed due to a private event, so everyone was jammed into the Kohala pool space. None of pools provide umbrellas for shade - you have to pay $150 to get a chaise with an umbrella. There is no staff coming around to take drink orders and you have to order take-out in person at the grill and take it back with you. Basically, the Hilton is more like YMCA water park than a resort at this point. The nice pool at the Fairway Villas a least had free shade!

This was a great place to stay. Close to everything and beautiful. The bedroom downstairs was perfect for my elderly mother-in-law and beds were comfortable for all of us.

We loved our stay here. It was a beautiful home with a beautiful location. There is one of the best beaches a small walk away and the sunsets are epic. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to cook at home and it is a short drive to many farmer's markets and grocery stores. The complex was well kept and secure. The pool was pristine and perfect for our 5 year old. I would note that the bedroom with the twin beds is only separated by a thin sliding wall to the living space.

The accommodation was excellent, and hosts were responsive to questions on checking in with the lockbox system. The kitchen was well equipped and the view from our room was spectacular.

What a wonderful oasis in the middle of Kona. A lush and bird filled property. Close to beaches and restaurants, the property was also wonderful to lounge in and read. Loved it.

We came to Kona for our oldest daughter’s wedding it was intimate, small & sweet. Usually when we come to HI time seems to slow down. This time around it was quick and short but we definitely felt right at home in Alexey Airbnb! Pictures were exactly how they looked clean and beautiful. He had just about everything you needed in the kitchen, rooms and bathrooms. We felt right at home. He had extra bedding, irons, a variety of coffee makers, tea kettle and even a slow cooker which came in handy! If I had to suggest something it would probably be a rice cooker other than that he really provided everything. I usually travel with my own shampoo/conditioner but I loved whatever brand they had. We’ve stayed in quite a few Airbnb but this so far was extremely the cleanest, roomiest and well decorated one! We were so comfortable we felt like we were right at home. We definitely need to make a trip back to this island and hopefully Alexey will welcome us back again! Thank you for your hospital

I had a great stay at this place! The house is very nice, clean, and spacious, with a wide-open view that includes the coastline. The room is well-ventilated, which makes it quite cool at night. It even got a bit chilly, but the host was very responsible and thoughtfully brought us some extra blankets. There is plenty of parking available downstairs, which made it really convenient. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay and would highly recommend this place!

We really enjoyed our stay on the big island. We loved getting up early to watch the sun rise with the view of Mauna Kea and watching the sunset from different nearby beaches. Making the day trip to Hilo was fun and a great way to see more of the island. Caroline was a gracious host and a great communicator. We appreciated all of the details of the condo, including all of the beach and kitchen supplies. The home is incredibly comfortable and well stocked, with extra toiletries and towels. My family also enjoyed daily trips to the pool/hot tub. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the big island.

The condo was exactly as advertised. It was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, and the pool was right behind the unit. The master bedroom/bathroom were great. The bed was very comfortable. The location is very close to all the resorts and only 25 minutes from the airport. Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Matt's condo at the Waikoloa Beach Villas. The condo was beautiful. We felt right at home with a sign that said Aloha Rohn Ohana. The condo was exactly as described in the listing. It was in immaculate condition and very spacious for my family of four. Each room/space had very large TV's with Roku's to access whatever streaming service you would like. The condo was well stocked. Matt was very responsive whenever I had a question. I was especially thankful for the beach umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards and other beach equipment that we could use. I felt very safe at the gated condo. Even being in such close proximity to the pool, it wasn't noisy. However, it is a downstairs unit. We would occasionally hear the people above us. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The Hilton Pass is a nice because you can go to the Hilton and access their pools, lagoon and waterslides. I would definitely recommend staying at one of Matt's condos.
