This simple, charming cabin sits atop a green (or white or brown) pasture overlooking Kachemak Bay and two spoiled horses. It has a quiet “out of town” feel, yet, the Spit and downtown homer are only an 8-12 minute drive away. You might find fresh eggs from our hens in the refrigerator if they are producing well! It includes one comfy queen bed, full bathroom with laundry, and a small but capable kitchen. Longer stays here are economical and comftorable.

It is close to restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops, but most importantly, it's only a 5-minute walk to the beach. This is a 14' dry yurt above Bear Canyon. Canyon Rim Trail runs just outside your door. During your stay, you'll take in beautiful views of Kachemak Bay and the Homer Spit. We are located east of Homer, 1/2 mile above the walking/biking path that runs from Homer along East End Road. We are also just 1/2 mile (a 10 minute walk) from Bear Creek Winery.
