Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Homosassa Springs

This was our second stay at Relaxing Retreat. We appreciated it even more the second time. As soon as you enter, a Florida vibe surrounds you and it's squeaky clean. Dana and Larry provide all the extras that make a stay super special..... like a welcome snack basket, all the kitchen and bathroom amenities you could ask for, a super clear and informative welcome binder and so much more. Communication from the start until the end was prompt, friendly and helpful. We hope to come again. Thank you!

We had a group of younger teenagers that we took on a family trip. There was so much for them to do just at the house. They loved fishing, playing corn hole, swimming, ping pong, kayaking, and much more. The large outdoor screened in patio was amazing. Just from the house we saw an alligator and a large alligator snapping turtle. The house had everything we could of needed. I would definitely recommend this for a place to stay. The owner is very helpful and responsive.

This riverfront home was everything we hoped for and more! The location is absolutely beautiful — we enjoyed breathtaking sunsets every evening right from the property. The home was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were incredibly cozy, making it easy to unwind after peaceful days by the water. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway with gorgeous views and a clean, welcoming space, this is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay here! We took the kayaks out for a day, easily paddled the beautiful little route to Weeki Wachee, and spent the afternoon with a group of 15-20 friendly manatees. We'll remember it forever!

Johnnie and Jennifer were very responsive with excellent local recommendations. The house was exceptional and the view outstanding. The kids absolutely loved the pool and fishing right in the back yard. We would definitely return for another stay!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—there wasn’t a single thing we found ourselves missing. The kids had an absolute blast kayaking and swimming in the swimming hole—it was a highlight of the trip! The downstairs area was perfect for the whole family to relax, hang out, and enjoy some quality time together. Such a cozy, welcoming spot—we’d definitely love to come back!

We had a truly wonderful stay at the property! Both the property manager and property owner were incredibly kind and attentive—always quick to respond to any questions we had. The property itself is massive, peaceful, and just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed using the kayaks and exploring the little beach the owner told us about—she gave us clear directions and made sure we felt at home. The location is great too, close to some of the most famous springs in Florida. What truly made this trip special was the unique experience with the animals. The owner rescued a sweet deer that visits in the early morning and at dusk—she warmed up to us quickly and was such a joy to be around. Precious and Ruby, her pets, were also very sweet and friendly, and we were able to feed the deer and spend time with the animals, which we loved. It was a perfect stay, and we’re already planning to come back!

this place is in the most beautiful setting, so peaceful and beautiful. the hosts were outstanding. felt welcome right away. gave space to do what I wanted to do which was often just sitting in their most beautiful space and soaking it all in Do not hesitate book it !

Tom and Tammy are really super hosts. Always responded quick to my questions. The area is fantastic. Walk to restaurants and the best one is Brian’s Place right next door. You can sit on the deck and enjoy the music on weekends (don’t worry, it’s over by 9), and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Plenty of parking. Lots of shopping close by. Place has everything you need and is well equipped. Plenty of wildlife. Two majestic Eagles have a nest across the canal.

Great little spot! This is the second time I come and stay here because the price and location is hard to beat.. we saw baby dolphin jumping right behind the house at sunset time, manatee, and along the river there were otters and deer and just so much beauty! Staying here is one of the easiest ways to see the Weekiwachee River. It has everything you need: AC beds with clean linens, clean kitchen and bathroom. Be sure to be prepared to share the outside area though! There is another rental above and the yard is a shared space (something I forgot all about.) Everyone we encountered from above was very nice. Also noticed the kayaks were upgraded since my last visit! Wonderful weekend all in all. Will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay here. May was very responsive and always communicated very well. It was nice and quiet , exactly what we needed as a short getaway. The neighborhood was safe and we never felt uneasy at all even though we returned back late at night we would definitely stay here again. Make sure you check out the Rusty Belly restaurant. The food was so good. And for Karaoke , The Bridge was so much fun. Small dive but good crowd.

Great stay! We didn't get in until 2:30am - easy to find and easy access for entry. Lights were on waiting for us. It was only 3 miles from my father who is a snowbird in Homosassa which was great! Very clean. Has everything you need for your stay. New appliances. Safe area. Restaurants and bars close by. Would stay again.

This place is perfect to kick back and relax! The screened in patio made our stay- as our crew sat there for morning coffee and drinks at night. The cottage itself was very cozy and cute. Close to Monkey Bar/downtown making it a great location.

This is a perfect spot for a peaceful weekend getaway and exploring in nature. A highlight of the stay was seeing all the wildlife on the Chassahowitzka River! This cabin was cozy, and felt like home. We appreciated amenities like board games, the grill and kayaks (& lifevests) which made the experience seamless. Make sure you bring your own mask and snorkel to make the most of this great spot with its very own river access!!

My family spent Father’s Day weekend at Casey’s cabin and we loved every second of it! Peaceful, full of wildlife, private, and family friendly! What a weekend to remember. I would highly recommend this place to any nature lovers or families/couples looking to “unplug”. Can’t wait to book again!

This is our second time staying here, my dog, boyfriend, and I love it here! We would live here if we could, haha. Leslie is so helpful and always responds quickly. If you love being in nature, this is great! Our dog loves the fenced in backyard, walking to the park by the water, and also riding on the golf cart! They have everything you need here, and more! We took our dog out on the double kayak, and it was so nice! We saw otters and lots of nature. Definitely not a luxury hotel, but a cozy place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We will be back again, I am sure of that. Thank you Leslie and Richard!

Booked a weekend stay for my boyfriends 28th birthday. This was such an unforgettable stay for us. I could go on and on, but I’ll keep it short and say Dustin was one of the best hosts I’ve experienced on air bnb. He responded promptly every time I had a question and was so friendly. The house was clean and had endless amenities. The main reason I booked this stay is because of the included kayaks and boat launch which made kayaking so easy. We already can’t wait to come back. The cabin was clean, spacious and beautiful! Felt very cozy ! Me and my family had a wonderful time here ! The outdoor space was great for the kids ! There was a ping pong table darts and plenty of games to keep them entertained! Overall great stay would love to visit again ! Emilie was a great host ! Very communicative and even provided us with a welcome guide which was very thoughtful and came in handy !

Experience was perfect and exactly what my husband and I needed to get some R&R and peace away from the busy city. Lots of great fishin off the dock. Bluegill, gar, bowfin,catfish, and a wee baby alligator. Friendly people nearby and good food and live music at the restaurant across the street. We will definitely return.
