Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hong Kong Island

We had an extremely relaxing stay in Anoes’ home. It is a wonderful retreat. We took our meals and coffee on the porch listening to rain on the roof and watching banana trees flower in front of the sea. The house interior is spacious and clean and the AC works well. We also very much enjoyed the walk to town along the wooded pedestrian lath. Anoes was a wonderful host. We hope to return.

Unit is located in a very convenient location. Close to metro, and tons of restaurants . Nearby there is a beautiful historical park.

Adrian’s apartment is beautifully renovated. Huge space with 3 rooms and a study room. Kitchen is well equipped with utensils and also condiments. Adrian is very responsive and friendly. The location is great. From the back gate, there are minibus and bus stop connecting to Sai kung, Po Lam and rest of the city. Very convenient.

A great place, with a beautiful setup and decoration, and a very responsive host. We felt at home right away. Thanks again, we hope to be back one day!

We loved our stay at Francesca’s place! The decor is beautiful and the location is perfect - close to the Lamma ferry pier but out of the way of the crowds. Francesca herself was responsive, friendly and understanding of our needs. We would love to stay here again! The outdoor patio is an added plus.

First of all, thank you very much Mi for hosting me and my gf. Mi is a super friendly person with very fast response, I still wonder how she can reply my messages with in a minute 😂 The location of the flat is very convenient, youay reach there by MTR and couple of bus routes, it is near CBD and soho with many pubs and restaurants nearby, by the way, the environment is peaceful at night. Finally, most importantly, the flat is very clean and tidy. The kitchen is a bit small but you can find everything you need. I do enjoy the time in Mi's flat.😊

Best location to walk around and feel Hong Kong. If you want to stay like a local in Hong Kong, I recommend it. There is a simple kitchen and washing machine, so it was good for a free travel style.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at this awesome Causeway Bay apartment in Hong Kong. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how warm and welcoming the space felt — it’s clear a lot of thought has gone into the little details. The apartment was spotlessly clean, incredibly cosy, and had so many lovely homely touches that made it feel like a true retreat in the bustling heart of Hong Kong. We especially appreciated the high floor away from street noise, comfy bed, and kitchen with everything we needed. Communication from X was fantastic — always prompt, clear, and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better base for our trip to HK and would absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful few days in Julian's renovated apartment. It was compact but very liveable and well resourced. Located right near both bus and metro lines for easy access to the city/harbour and very near to the Temple St markets. Plenty of food options nearby ranging from simple street food to more upmarket restaurants. The building is old but has been recently modernised. Julian provided clear instructions and made suggestions for sightseeing and transportation.Access was easy with keypad check-in. There is a lift and very good air conditioner as well as a washing machine and cooking facilities. Highly recommended for a short or longer term stay.

Excellent hosts, and a brilliant HK location. Right in the middle of SOHO, just off the escalator. An amazing place to stay whether you know HK or not, and super handy as taxis go right down staunton street, so it's really convenient for airport express. and Stauntons ;) And a very comfy bed too.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Easy access off Hollywood Rd - down a couple small flights of stairs on Shing Hing st. Studio apartment is on the first floor - so not too many stairs when you have cases to lug up. Apartment was as described with the addition of a coffee table which opens up to a table. Had everything we needed. The host provided videos to help explain various things - including how to find the entrance and open the door. Despite our plane delay and our very late arrival he checked in with us to make sure we got in ok. You are in old Hong Kong - so be prepared for lots of stairs and hill walking - but so much to take in and enjoy. No shortage of food and drink venues in walking distance.

Fantastic stay! The location was super easy to get to and in a safe, peaceful neighborhood. There are plenty of great food options nearby in Hung Hom, and I didn’t even need to visit a convenience store everything was so well supplied. The place was very well maintained, with a great shower and all the essentials. The host was very friendly and thoughtful, which made the stay even better. I would definitely come back again!

It is close to the subway station and bus station, it is convenient to get around, it is good value for money, the host is also very nice, that is, it is a little inconvenient when taking a bath, and the water needs to be heated in advance.

Eunice was very responsive and friendly. The place matched the pictures and listing details. We really enjoyed our time here. It was comfortable and being a corner apartment, it had a beautiful view! We enjoyed the convenience of the washer and kitchen appliances. The location is great too. Nice food options walking distance for a quick breakfast/ lunch or dinner. Some good takeaway options as well. I loved not having to walk around Hong Kong with my luggage since the bus to / from the airport stops right outside the front door. I would 100% recommend!

We had a great stay! The location is incredibly convenient — the MTR station is literally right below the apartment, so no need to cross any streets. It’s right in the heart of the city, with plenty of food options around. We especially loved having Welcome grocery just downstairs — perfect for grabbing water, snacks, or some quick breakfast ingredients to cook. There are also bakeries, fast food chains, and local restaurants all nearby. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Highly recommended!

Well priced accomodation in an extremely convenient location for Hong Kong tourists Very easy to get to from the airport using the train and the proximity to the Jordan train line means almost every main attraction and tourist area is only 15-20 minutes away. Mei is a very responsive host who is very quick to help with any clarifications Small room especially for taller folks but very well priced and in a great location

I won't give you any compliments, like, that "host is fantastic blah blah..." To get straight to the point, Hong Kong, which is close to China, sometimes hasn't been safe with COVID-19. Staying in a hotel which has closed window only is very disturbing because COVID-19 is especially severe these days. I found that most hotels in Hong Kong don't have windows open. So I ended up looking for a lot of accommodation overnight. The result was satisfying. The small house with the veranda was as satisfying as the small bird's nest. Sometimes I could go outside the veranda and see the scenery outside. I also liked the fact that it was a very neat accommodation. It's only for one person. No more people can stay.
