A beautiful and serene getaway for the whole family… Joy is so thoughtful to think of anything guests may need! What a blessing to stay at such a child-friendly home. Certainly a place all ages will thoroughly enjoy! 😀 We really enjoyed visiting Dinosaur World & Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose nearby with our son, but then coming back to “The Retreat at The Ridge” and feeling like we were truly getting away from it all and enjoying magnificent views & nature right out the back door! We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The house was spotless and well-maintained, with comfortable beds that made it easy to relax and get a great night's sleep. It was fully stocked with amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable—from a well-equipped kitchen to thoughtful extras throughout the home. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed, yet peaceful enough for a relaxing getaway. It was ideal for our family’s quick trip, offering both convenience and comfort. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place—we’d definitely love to come back!

Staying here with close friends was a blast! The host did an excellent job communicating, and went out of their way to provide amenities and services to us. I can wholeheartedly say that this is an experience worth every penny!

Fantastic place, even though it’s not far from Granbury or surrounding buildings, it still feels very private and nestled within nature. There is a ton to do on the property, and it is a very beautiful property.

We had a long extended stay at this home and it was a great spot! The house had everything we needed, it was comfortable, and the backyard was great for relaxing by the lake. Ginger has hosted my group several times and she always communicates quickly, is very helpful, and easy to work with!

Turbo provided all essential details and reminders throughout our stay. The apartment was very clean and cozy! It had everything we needed and felt just like home! Check In and Check Out were made easy with clear instructions, as well as all other house rules.

This is a great location for decompressing. It is situated in beautiful rolling hills looking out upon a good size pond. The sunsets were amazing. The location was perfect for visiting family that lives nearby. It is a second floor location with only stairs. It didn't bother us any. The apartment is updated and clean. The owners live on site and are extremely nice. I will definitely recommend to my family and friends going to the area.

This high-rise condominium stay exceeded our expectations. Jay and his staff were very communicative and responsive. Easy parking and access, accommodations and amenities were as described. Quiet location with well insulated walls so you can’t hear your neighbors. We needed to be close to medical facilities and it was just a few minutes away. Gorgeous pool setting and barbecue area. Wish our stay was in the summer so we could enjoy it, but we will be back.!

Penny is the best host. This place, both inside and out is like a little paradise. I've stayed in AirBnB's all over from California to Washington DC and our stay here was the MOST THOUGHTFUL. Penny thinks of everything. The photos don't do it justice as it is even better than expected. We will absolutely be back to stay here again.

The home was wonderful! Clean, comfortable and in a beautiful and convenient area! Being able to use the dock for our to fish off of was an excellent bonus!! Host was friendly!! We are a family of 5 and the home fit us just right!!

This was our 2nd time to stay at Slow Your Roll and we can’t wait to come back. It’s pretty far out in the country and that makes it quiet and beautiful. This time we had a little rabbit visit us outside! We love taking walks down the dirt roads. It’s a peaceful retreat but in a cabin that has everything you need…several big TVs with DirecTV, full kitchen and two bedrooms with King Sized beds and full bathrooms. Plus it’s always immaculately clean!

A Truly Magical Escape – More Than We Could Have Hoped For: My partner Kacey and I stayed at the Saddle House with our two puppies, and it was nothing short of magnificent. Nestled on a serene 40-acre property, this peaceful haven offers trails that lead straight out from the back pasture, where deer roam freely each evening and the gentle presence of two beautiful horses and a friendly donkey—who loves a good butt scratch—greeted us daily. Every morning we woke up to stillness and beauty, spent our days hiking and splashing in the Paluxy River with our dogs, and ended our nights under the stars. It was exactly the kind of soul-soothing break from the everyday grind that we needed. One of the sweetest highlights was on our last night—Carrie, the incredible manager, surprised us with warm, homemade chocolate chip cookies delivered right to our door. Her kindness and the love put into every detail of this property made it feel like a home away from home. thanks Country Woods Inn.

What a beautiful little hideaway on Granbury Lake! Clean and pristine! I LOVE the decor! It was adorable and so well put together! The beds were WONDERFUL! SUPER comfy!! So much that I had to ask where she got them so I could get one myself! Loved the soaking tub as well as the hot tub. The view of the lake is wonderful—really adds to the peaceful setting. The fire pit was a fun way to end the day. We enjoyed our meals on the deck, though you might want to bring some bug repellent and citronella candles or torches to repel bugs and mosquitoes, as you’re at the lake with lots of typical wildlife and water around you. It’s also close to the town square as well as groceries. We personally had Amazon and Walmart deliver groceries and other items. I honestly was impressed how quickly aforos got back to us when we had questions—even late at night—I kind of felt bad for her to be so on call all the time—she is really devoted to making sure your stay is wonderful! I look forward to next time!

This places actually bigger than I aspected and it was pretty quiet around it. We enjoyed our stay.
