Cottage holiday rentals in Hood River

Absolutely loved this location breath takin lg and so serene!

Well before we even checked in they were very responsive to planning questions we had, the home was beautiful inside and out, and they had everything you could think to need from kitchen supplies to an AMAZING DVD and game collection and all the water floaties and shoes you could possibly need! We were looking at future dates and other locations they had to offer before we even checked out! I will note the stairs do suck but I feel like we were well informed and the host was very transparent before we even paid so we knew that going in and that’s a choice you will have to make. It won’t stop us from enjoying this little piece of the world again!

Raylene’s space was exactly what we were looking for! It was so cute and cozy and I loved the hot tub set up. We really enjoyed all the additional games and things to do. The kitchen had everything we needed and the two beds were so comfortable. We were initially worried about the stairs but it was easier than we thought to get up and down! We would absolutely stay here again!

The location of Eva's Cottage was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. We were spending our anniversary doing multiple day hikes out of the Gorge. This little cottage nestled in the woods provided us the peace and serenity we were looking for as well as providing a local home base to return to each day. The cottage was off the beaten path so it was private. It was in the view of their lodge but didn't interfere with our privacy at all. We had a momma deer with her twin babies lingering near the cottage for us to admire and we enjoyed just sitting and watching the river.

Come here twice a year with the family and it never disappoints! Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

Incredible hidden cottage nestled in a woodsy spot. The hosts were very sweet. Alpacas were the stars of the stay. Clean, quiet and well equipped. Short drive to town, great restaurants and doughnut shops!!

Our family had a wonderful time being together, including our furry ones. Loved it being close to Mt. Hood and the Wildwood Recreation area. It was as described. Thank you for sharing your Mountain house.

We had a great stay at this property. It's just a short walk to many shops and restaurants and a very peaceful location at night. You'll have a hard time finding a better location near town for the value. Everything was as described by our host and we found him to be very friendly and responsive. As others have mentioned, it is an older home - the floor creaks, there is worn paint in a few places, and a few small holes in the ceiling where a fixture was removed, but I get the feeling the owner is making improvements. The kitchen and bathroom, while small, were very up to date and clean. Note: the internet is currently DSL, so if you need high bandwidth or to upload a bunch of data over wifi, this may not be the place for you. That said, we had no issues using wifi to web browse on our phones and steam TV on the provided Roku device. The stairs leading to the basement are something out of a horror movie, but I overcame my fear to do one load of laundry and lived to write this review :)

This was an adorable place near Mt. Hood! Don't let the outside look fool you, this place is amazing on the inside and the location is perfect. It was well stocked with all of our needs. For those that cook your own meals, the only critique is the seasonings provided were all expired when we were there. Overall, this exceeded our expectations and we wish we had more time there.

The cottage is sweet, roomy and comfortable. Well-equipped with everything you could want. The back yard goes down to the creek and is amazing. So relaxing to sit outside. Like a fairy land!

Very cute cottage!

This is my second stay here! Fred and Trish are the epitome of what an Airbnb host should be! Their place was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which really added to the festive spirit of our stay. The personal touch of homemade cookies, brought to us not once but twice, was absolutely delightful and made us feel so welcome. Their warmth and friendliness were genuine, making our stay incredibly comfortable and memorable. I highly recommend staying with Fred and Trish for anyone looking for a cozy, festive, and genuinely hospitable experience!

I felt like we just spent 3 days in Eden before the fall. It is absolutely beautiful in every direction you look. Walter and Christy were friendly and helpful and we found ourselves wanting to hang out with them a bit. I COULD NOT recommend this place more highly.

This is a great place to stay in the gorge area. It’s cozy, welcoming and very clean. The house is really well laid out for a family or two couples with bedrooms at opposite ends of the house and plenty of space in the common areas. The little outdoor area was perfect for a morning coffee. Jeri was so easy to communicate with and made it a seamless stay. Bingen itself is a pleasant little town overlooked by its better known and far more expensive neighboring towns. We will be back for sure.

Stayed in this beautiful cabin over Christmas with my family. The home was absolutely perfect! The host is incredibly responsive and friendly. Very relaxing and peaceful space. Turned out to be a beautiful spot for an unexpected Christmas engagement as well ❤️🎄 Would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much!

This is a beautiful spot, nestled in the woods and secluded as advertised. I can't overstate how nice it is to hear the White Salmon river from the deck. The interior is delightful and the kitchen is well-equipped, with all the amenities you could ask for. Although I mostly stayed put, White Salmon and Hood River are both a short drive away, with hikes around Mt. Adams not much further. Highly recommend staying here!
