This is a private mountain/lake escape with all the modern conveniences of home! Waterfront house on the beautiful Fraser River in Hope BC! Heritage home built in 1940 and fully renovated keeping its character. Tree suspended deck with world class views of mountains and the mighty Fraser! Short walk to all the quaint shops in town and the beautiful city park. Kawkawa Lake is 10 mins away. Perched up on the cliff, over-looking the Fraser River, our luxury train caboose is surrounded by a rhododendron forest. Conveniently located on highway #7, we are easily accessible and at the door step of endless outdoor adventures. We have our own private hiking trails that wind up the mountain side, crossing creeks, waterfalls and passing many varietals of rhododendrons amongst the lush, natural forest. There are multiple gazebos, look-outs and the higher up you go, the quieter it is.

Prepare a feast in the well-equipped kitchen or enjoy a glass of wine on the beautiful covered deck next to the fire pit or in the hot tub. On indoor days, entertain yourself with the many games available. For outdoor enthusiasts, explore the numerous hiking trails in Sunshine Valley and Manning Park. Well-behaved dogs are welcome for an additional pet fee.

Private Modern Treehouse on Highland Farm

Designed as a nod to my heritage, Skoghus ('forest house' in Norwegian) was crafted for relaxation, and reconnecting with nature. The treehouse sits in the centre of a Scottish Highland cattle farm, with pasture and forest in all directions. From the yard, you'll be able to observe and engage with the farm's cattle when they come by. Inside, you can disconnect and unwind, with luxury amenities. The dwelling is completely unique and provides a very special feeling while living in the trees.

Hitchings Hideaway

A cozy rustic log cabin in the Cascade Mountain community of Sunshine Valley. This little cabin will provide you with an escape from the city with its relaxing (private) hot tub & gas fireplace. *Pls note: Sunshine Valley is a neighborhood of cabins-we have neighbors on either side. Some people enjoy bringing ATV's to the area. You may hear these vehicles, particularly in the busier summer months and/or weekends. The community is growing and there are some new constructions in the area*.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a tiny house on wheels? Enjoy this lovely, luxury 36’ tiny house nestled in this romantic spot overlooking Kawkawa Lake and Ogilvie Peak, with the sun setting behind you on Mount Hope. Tucked off the main road, enjoy nature as the deer, bear, coyotes, marmots, chipmunks, frogs and other animals walk past the tiny house to the local pond. Perfect for a romantic getaway. All the amenities in a tiny package!

Cozy Log Cabin

Our log home was built to replicate historical buildings in BC with a roof line borrowed from Quebec. The main floor is an open concept with a kitchen, dining area and living room. Bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. I have a clawfoot bathtub but do not have a shower. The back yard is large and fenced for kids and a dog to enjoy. Bring your own wood if you want to use the fire pit. Bring pods if you want to use the Keurig or Nespresso.

The Yellow Maple

Come enjoy your stay in Maple, a 1996 school bus that has been fully renovated into a tiny home. Come experience the camping vibes without sacrificing any of the modern luxuries! This creek side stay is located in a small private campground in the middle of peaceful country side. 2 minutes away from entrance to Jones lake and 10 min to the town of Hope. Kick back, relax, make some s'mores, and enjoy every thing Maple has to offer.
