Walk 1 km into the valley, along the gravel road. Ortnevik is located on the south side of the beautiful Sognefjorden. With road access along the fjord from the west and ferry connection from Vik and Nordeide.

Gas refrigerator and gas burner, solar cell for charging. You can rent a hot tub, electric bicycles, SUP boards or a snazzy Fiat 500 to drive around (for a fee, NOK 1500 for the hot tub). Great hiking opportunities in the community. Mountains and water! Park up on the farm and walk down about 250 meters to the cabin. The hot tub and shower are located next to the main house. At this quiet accommodation you can enjoy views of the fjord from the living room, the terrace or from the outdoor wilderness bath. It's only 5 minutes down to the lake. Sauda is only 15 minutes away by car. Here you will find most things, including a swimming pool. Many opportunities for great mountain trips and other nature experiences throughout the year. Svandalen ski center is 15 minutes away by car. The cabin is rented to guests who have respect for the fact that they live in our private cabin and is NOT rented out for parties and private events.

"The blue nest" Solbakken Microhouse

Enjoy the nature and the views you get when you get up to the top of this newly built Microhouse. This is the highest of the two Microhouses in Solbakken, where they are both located in the surroundings of animals and art. Gallery Solbakkestova with its beautiful sculpture garden is located just next to the house. Goats graze in front, and you can see alpacas on the other side. The house is located in a rural area, but is close to the city center and bus. Walking and cycling paths pass by, and the hiking trail up to Liafjellet is close by.

This charming old villa is situated at a beautiful small farm with a farmhouse, a ceramic studio with a woodkiln, and a family home . The farm is overlooking the fjord and glacier and the view is absolutely stunning. Ideal for families! Away from traffic we have a lovely atmosphere with animals, fruit trees, swings, and a lot of space. You find great hiking right off the doorstep. The grocery store is a 10 minute walk away, the marina as well. We can help organise renting a boat for fishing.
